you forgot to mention that the power attack flips your pickaxe around, so you attack with the other end of it. its a small detail but i like it totally did not take me 200+ hours to notice
Just by looking at it a can already see that it was made not only for mining but also for obliterating the skulls of glyphids brave enough to approach a dwarf

I wish they would delegate activating Berserker to a separate keybind, I tried it a few times but kept accidentally activating it with the current version.
Here's some advice for using the pickaze: • As mentioned you can mine standing minerals from the bottom to mine them faster, this also includes bismor and magnite. • The best way to mine resources embedded in a wall is to mine from the side, as the width of the pickaze zone is nearly twice it's depth, making it easier to mine all of the vein in one go. • Mining a small ledge, or a staircase through the resources to get to stuff just out of reach will save you a lot of trouble and navigation tools. • Always mine all of the morkite and nitra you find as leaving small bits behind adds up. Since you collect in increments of one tenth, nitra will add up quickly and you won't be struggling to find little pieces of morkite you missed for that one off from quota. • You should get comfortable with pickazing small enemies such and swarmers zappers and shredders, as you will conserve a lot of ammo this way. Just don't become too reluctant to shoot at large swarms of them like I am. • You can slightly delay your power attack to sneak in a very quick regular attack before the power attack for what I call a buffered attack, this is incredibly useful for killing slashers in one shot. It's best to practice this on lootbugs, you will hear the first hit when you can activate the power attack. This is similar to Q mining as it cancels the back half of the regular swing animation. • Pickaze attacks are great at destroying armor; guards, pretorians, shellbacks and brundles all can be made vulnerable. There's a sweet spot in the pretorians armor just behind it's neck that will break it all off with one well placed swing. Shellbacks can be redirected away from you with a well timed power attack. Brundles armor can be broken with a regular swing, but a power attack will shred half it's hp. • Power attacking most enemies in the face will briefly stun it, this works best against slashers and pretorians as you can interpret their attack. Power Attacking a dreadnought in the face to assert dominance has a good chance to make it drop agro on you. Advanced Pickaze Skills: • Power attacking the dreadnoughts is a great way to conserve ammo, hitting the exposed nubs on the hiveguard is the simplest and is a good use for the buffered power attack, as the hit confirmation for the first attack will insure you are lined up for the buffered attack. Power attacking the dreadnought with armor or exposed is useful and will even hit through his front plate, just be mindful of when it can do it's big ground smash attack, which has a substantial cooldown and a fairly long wind-up. Hitting the twin with higher health when they are about to heal or to keep them even health can save you some trouble, they are still vulnerable while they are diving into the ground which is the best time to strike. • You can bounce off of large enemies rear to continuously hit them with the pickaze while staying out of line of fire and away from the bugs bittey and pokey bits. This works well against the hiveguard to strike the nubs continuously, just be careful cause he can still attack you if you are near to his face. I wouldn't recommend using it against the other types of dreadnoughts though. • All bots are weak to pickaze attacks and can be delt a huge burst of damage if you hit the weakspot. Use it against the prospector when it gets near or the arms of the overseer after they try to bash you. Don't try it against the nemisis unless you like getting grabbed as it does negligible damage. • All mactera are weak to pickaze attacks as well, and can be delt with swiftly if you are brave enough to reach their weakpoint. Goo bombers and swarms are easy targets, but the real magic is power attacking a grabber right before it reaches you to save yourself. Hitting the weakpoint on grabbers and goo bombers will chunk half there health, and swarms or trijaws die to one blow.
EDIT: I'M TOTALLY WRONG! IGNORE ME! Note if you do try and mine standing veins the "quick" way you lose roughly 30% of the minerals you would gain by picking them top down.

the pickaxe knows where it is because it knows where it isn't.
Love the pick it’s one of those little things that make DRG stand out
"it's like having a clean plate after dinner" it's like have a s#&* and not needing to wipe
I had youtube on autoplay,. With the title and the initial music, I thought this was a runescape video at first.
THIS WAS A VERY WELL MADE VIDEO AND I LIKED IT THANK YOU
Me, whenever a leaf lubber doesn't clear their mineral plate: 👁👅👁 "are you gonna finish that?" I always mix and match pickaxe parts. I make the picks thematic to each dwarf. Great video!
Always love destroying the head of a grunt with the big smack
This video rocked, and stoned. Good job!
I have a Kratos build for the Driller and I absolutely love it, the Cryo cannon combined with vampire and berserker is like nothing else in the game. This years Yuletide event gave me the final piece to recreate the Leviathan Axe from the game and I love it. Rock and stone, boy!
ROCK AND STONE BROTHERSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've always wondered what the final moments a turret's AI sees as a scout grapples towards it and anhilates it with a power attack.
Always had a soft spot for the gadgeteers pickaxe love how it’s like a power tool but it’s just a a pick. Like slapping a computer on a hammer
The hammerblow is like my proudest achievement but im yet to get the damn shaft for it
The music choice is so good. Garden to Cider Time? Count me in
