Perfect list, 🤩linen pants, dresses are the bomb in summer for me. I would add a nice straw hat or sporty hat in white, perhaps?. Btw. that hair cut looks great on you!
Love this video! I agree with everything you said. I am a dress lover but I also like loose flowy pants in summer colours like white and blue. Thanks for another great and inspiring video! Hugs from Montreal 💚💚💚
I was following this until I saw all the Lilly Pulitzer stuff. All these over 50 advice women have a ton of money to spend on clothes! If you can look good in discount clothing from Walmart, kohls, it Goodwill-then I’d be impressed!
I really love your Videos Have purchased a lot of Lilly Pulzer bc I love the colors Can you please do a vedio on how you lost 60 lbs I am struggling Thanks 😊
@@shoppingonchampagne I am just happy you have color in your videos! Many channels just have neutrals, and those are nice, but I used to feel nervous about wearing prints and bright colors. The way you get it all to go together has helped me. I am a newly retired school teacher, and I don't have to dress for work anymore, so I am rethinking my wardrobe. Thanks again for your channel.
HI Nancy. I love your videos!!! You have a good taste and your information is clear. Keep on it!!! Hugs from Buenos Aires (Argentina), where we are in winter.
As I am on the heavy side right now I have to avoid shorts, shorts and trousers. I hope I will change that soon! How did you loose 60 pounds? I love your use of colours! Shawls and scarves are my go to. They can warm and hide! In addition to your list I should mentions hats, they are vital for me in summer.
Hi Darlene, Thanks! It's a very comfortable linen top. It comes in white or pink. (I have both 😉) I'm normally a Medium in tops but sized up to a Large so there's no gaping at the bust and I can throw it in the washer and dryer. Here's a link to it: rstyle.me/+qjQclP2m081hd7GVw7gjHg
Love you videos and information. I guess I'm the opposite and oddball. I don't wear dresses. It's been about 25 years since I had one on. And even longer since I have worn shorts. Leggings I don't wear either. So on the bright side it really reduces my wardrobe fund. 🤣
@@shoppingonchampagne I have always been a Jean Gal except for while working, then the trouser & occasionally a dress. Now that I quit work to care for 2 family members who live with me its strictly jeans. I would love to find an alternative to jeans. I live in the deep south of Louisiana and it seems to keep getting hotter. I don't get why people like or even wear the short/cropped pants. They only look cute on a few people. So I am open for suggestions. My life is pretty much causal due to being a caregiver and not being able to go and do things like I use to. So yes I need help any help. Thank you for asking. Sorry for my response being so long but I'm a difficult situation (possibly?)
@@michellemonks6855 Hi Michelle, I actually think you have lots of options! Here are some ideas I have for you: chinos, pants with a hint of stretch, shorts, skorts, and leggings. You can create so many cute outfits with these items that are lighter weight and more comfortable with jeans. Lots of pants now have 2 or 4-way stretch so they are incredibly comfortable while allowing you to move around and take care of your tasks. I hope that gives you some ideas! 🥰It sounds like you have a lot on your plate caring for others, so make sure you take a little time to care for yourself, too.
You know I find it really difficult to take your advice when you're standing there in a pink sleeveless top with a plunging neckline cover your arms up there not pretty anymore and you're frankly too old to be wearing a tough cut like that yes it's hard to take fashion advice from you
“ coastal grandma”- I love you!😂
Great clear info yet again! Thanks Nancy! You are the fashionista Queen!
¡Genial! Muchas gracias por tus vídeos. Muy útiles y simpáticos. Un abrazo desde España 😘

Appreciate the info on necklines. Thx😊
I'm glad you enjoyed them! I'll be doing more videos on choosing the right garments for your body type, so stay tuned! 😉
A kimono is also a nice layering piece for the summer.
I agree, Carrie! Thanks for mentioning kimonos!

Very good💕
Can’t survive without hats and sunglasses in California ;)
I wear hats in the summer. Unless I'm in the water, I try to avoid any sun on my face.
Do you think spaghetti straps are ok om 55 yr old?
So happy you mentioned not wearing flip-flops. They don't look classy and feet just aren't very pretty.
Do you ever ware anything but Lily Pultizer clothing.
Wear
@Michelle 🎉yes, thank you, and thank you so much! lol. Dare I say, “your right!” 😂
How do you wear jeans with a zipper belt loop and a fat belly? They make me look fatter!
