I had the honor of having Eduardo as my teacher when I was a teenager. He was passionate and detailed-not a single note or phrase was ever overlooked. I remember we spent two hours on a Beethoven Sonata, just one 2 pages alone. He breathes life into his music, and I am happy to see him still performing! Thank you!
This is my favouritist piece by Schumann. All the other top pianists play it too fast and loud in my opinion. This performance is the one I like best so far. I play it even slower and quieter, and with much more rubato; but what do I know...? :)
