@@jm7racing I’m aware it is the NWCL that however in my view is an irrelevance, and there is nothing unrealistic about having high expectations, when my club has the biggest budget and best facilities in the league, we should also have the best manager available for that league, my opinion based on a measured assessment of his performance over time is he not that person. This isn’t the managers or the playing side of the club’s 1st season back in this league, the AFC version was operating at NWCL since 2020 with Mr. Welsh being a consistent since their inception. I am seeing the same issues as the back end of last season that he doesn’t learn from his mistakes he is one dimensional in his approach and the team’s defensive organisation is very poor, you can be hard to beat at any level so saying accept this as its NWCFL doesn’t really wash with me. As a leader I don’t find him very inspiring every interview is full of excuses and I honestly think he looks lost like a startled rabbit, my gut feeling is that it’s now too big a job for him. It’s season four for the manager not season one if you count the covid interrupted season and I think that the club have moved on from playing at Radcliffe where it was great to just have football to watch. This is a club now with three times the home crowds coming through the gates with a great following away that is setting attendance records at every ground we visit so the expectations will be bigger, but most importantly that momentum cannot be lost by having the wrong person at the helm as the crowds will drop very quickly if this is the case how many times have we seen this at Gigg over the years? The sound financial footing that is being built will be impacted and can put the clubs plans back years as a result. We should with the infostructure and resources we have along with the right management be walking through this league. I don’t think my patience or loyalty can be questioned, my first game was 19th March 1985 Bury 1 Darlington 0, 38 years man and boy supporting Bury all over the country, so no grumbling or laughable statements just a measured opinion based upon a lifetime of watching football. In my professional experience at times, you must make the tough decisions to remove and replace people with better people when your business grows to take you to the next step on a challenging journey to ensure you hit the goal you want to achieve. I believe this is the reality of where the club is at with the current manager after him being in position for the past three years, he has had a fair opportunity and been afforded time. I may be proven wrong, and football is all about opinions, this is mine.
i've never understood the mentality of thinking having an extra amount of unnecessary alloted time is any more beneficial to 1 club than the other. you know both teams can score in that time right? what a dinlo.

Need to start winning so the attendances don't drop as I fear it will be difficult to get them bk.
