If you could elevate 3 or 4 AHL players that would make a big difference in signing players. If you can do this each season, it's the healthiest and most economical way to build a team.

As long as you can effectively cherry pick the best of those rookies to retain and move on from the rest. If you get locked in on moving on from all of them and making rookie call ups your forever strategy, you can end up with a Farm Team to the NHL scenario, like the Oilers of the latter half 90s and early 2000s got themselves pegged as for a while, or in the MLB, what the Montreal Expos ended up being.
Bringing up rookes with a plan in mind to retaining the best of them for a full career with your team is the way to go, but hanging onto ones that aren't working out too long, so you can't still get prospect value for them and give them a 2nd chance to catch on somewhere else after a change of scenery and a change of coaching and team styles, or sending everything away, you can get yourself into trouble with too many former rookies that didn't pan out or losing all your future franchise players to other teams as they're hitting their peak.

I think he got hurt about 2-3 weeks before the All Star break.. I don't mind the deal. If he played healthy the whole season even Quin could get more points. Just interested in what their plan is.the rest of the way..

Glad you are feeling better! Good video. Now I can focus on you not being a nerdy white guy with glasses and a cool asian dude in a hospital gown. Keep up the great work! 😎

Glad he's recovering and (i think) ik what you're trying to say, but the phrasing sounds like you're more empathetic now that you know he isn't white lol

Hronek is a slightly above avg D & a poor playoff performer. I don’t get the signing at that price.

      1. Right handed
      2. Right age
      3. Right guy for Hughes' Norris year
      4. Really hard to replace
      5. Really high cost of acquisition
