    Are you just collecting hairs from the drain, or, are you using hairs that come out when you detangle prior to washing? When I collect what I lose prior to washing and then after a wash it’s amazing I have any hairs left on my head at all.

      I am collecting all the hairs that fall out from the moment I step into the shower until I am done styling. So from the drain, my brush, and my fingers as I style.

    I'm a bit confused. As it's normal to lose 50 to 150 strands per day and alot of that is on wash day, making wash day norms greater than that (as that's an average including wash day) why is 100 strands abnormal? I'd say only 100 strands on wash day is pretty low. Pretty darn low. When I have gone through seasonal shedding and counted, wash day was closer to 300 and yet I had no thinning. Going through that now as it's summer. I won't count anymore as it freaks me out. I'm sure it's more than 100 on wash day. Cooler months it's 10 to 20.... Barely anything. I really like you alot but I do think some people might get worried now if they lose 100 hairs on wash day, or any day, as this is normal.

      I did not mean 100 per wash day, but 100 per day. On wah days I'll have between 200 amd 400 hair's. And it is not my normal. I used to lose around 50 per day.

    I know we can all can have different reasons for shedding due to stress, hormones and vitamin deficiencies but I’ll tell you what helped for me just incase. After a year of consistent workouts, breathing techniques to relieve stress, and getting good sleep and lots of nutrition- good protein and fats and food based carbs, and using an organic shampoo all which did not slow my shedding, I added a vitamin D and MK-7 supplement for health benefits and my shedding stopped within 2 weeks. Maybe sooner bc I didn’t even think about it until 2 weeks after since I had just accepted the shedding at that point. It was pretty crazy. The first two weeks I took 10,000 iu with 200 mcg MK7, when down to 5000 iu and 100mcg MK7. Hope this helps! 🩵

      Vit and k2 is a must for everyone! I have taken it for years and increased my levels. Even so I'm shedding more now but it's summer. During the winter I don't lose much. I thing the D and k2 will only help if levels are low like below 50 to 70 mg. 100 even better. But.... I hope everyone is doing this for so many reasons. Almost all hospitalized covid patients were low in Vit D. Thanks for sharing this. I did real low levels cause hair loss along with the immune function.

      What is mk7?
