I stumble upon this video, I just want to say after finishing watching this, I have so much respect and admiration for you. Not all dad are involved in their kids nursery or life for that matter. I think is great you know everything that's in your baby's nursery and know where everything is from. My husband doesn't even know where my son's swaddle Blankets are in his nursery smh. Your wife is so lucky.
Sandy C the videos are great and he’s really good attwhat he does. I really enjoy the videos and learned a lot. But I’m sure your hubby has a lot of good qualities which is why you chose him. My hubby is in a another country and he’s doesn’t have the same attention to details, watched few videos but not as much as me but then these videos are perfect to share with him and I’m sure he’ll enjoy too.
I'd probably ask your husband to care/try a little more. He might want to but not really know how to start, or even believes he needs to. Open communication is better than thinking he's helpless!
I love how your videos have the same feel as other tech videos. I get so sick of baby product videos being so slow paced and not having the information that you need to make purchasing decisions. Thank you!!!
Way to go!! I dont know any other dad that would wanna get off their butt for 10 minutes to film this good quality video for their son. That really shows that you care! Henry is lucky to have you!!
not gonna lie, when i saw the thumbnail/title i already started judging and expected this to be a crazy techy video. but honestly, you rock. this is a great video and very inspiring. thank you for uploading.
I love this. My husband earned a bunch of smart stuff including an echo and those bulbs from his company and we had not decided what to do with them yet...Now I know what is going on his honeydo list for the weekend! Cute nursery! I love that it is not overly themed like some nurseries. It is cute, but simple.
finally a man doing the job, all those mommies posting videos while being so nice and pretty like thats imprtant make me just turn off UA-cam, but this is straight to the point and practical, like only men can do and its timesaving. bravo!
In 10 years of using UA-cam, I've never read such a bullshit sweeping generalisation. And you think buying a load of pointless gadgets makes you a good father?
Raw Primal you obviously have been with scumbags, it's a shame women like you base your life's poor experiences on how the rest of men are out there! I'll refrain from stereotyping women like you because I don't want to lower myself to your level, that would just be negative. Shame on you!
Everyone is different. I would like to set up the nursery my way but you think I’m going to go against my pregnant wife when she is nesting with my design/ room ideas? You would have to be crazy.
Dude! I love your videos!! We are expecting our first child next month and I gotta say, there's not much first dad love out there.. I must've gone through ur whole channel in 1 night. Keep them coming!!
That's so awesome to hear man, thanks a ton for the compliment. Hope to keep spreading the dad love. Also, if you'd like to connect with other new dads, the Dad 2.0 Summit brings together a ton of forward thinking dads for a fun weekend in February. Give it a look.
Wow! So much respect for you, very refreshing to see a dad that's so involved and genuinely excited for his child! Props, there needs to be more like you!
Oh wow. This baby is going to shake up your world. Especially when toddlerhood hits lol. I am an organizational and design freak. My son totally made me more flexible. Although I still put all his clothes away by outfits into labeled drawers lol.
I love to see your enthusiasm!!! The entire time your so excited, and seeing the smirk on your face when you walk about your son warms my heart immensely! Definitely keep up the amazing work on these videos. I see how much effort you put in and trust me it will pay off soon!
Me and my wife are expecting our first child soon and I been working on my daughters nursery myself to surprise my wife. She has no idea how it's going to come out, but trustees me that it'll be nice. This gave me some nice ideas for her room. I'm glad I was able to find tips from a father's view.
Dude- as a New soon to be dad in a few weeks, your content is the best on UA-cam. You’ve helped my wife and I plan on buying everything from our car seats and strollers to how to get our nursery together thoughtfully
suggestion! I have that desser, I'd suggest adding support to the middle leg (the one under the dresser) it's the weakest of the legs, and mine broke within a couple of months, and I don't have that much clothing!!
You got a sub from me, because (and this is OK) Mom's talk about high level approach of why they like a product. You talk about why you like it and what technology is involved in why you like a product. As a tech guy that's important to me, because I want to know exactly what tech features I'm getting with a product.
So Happy To Come Across Your Video! I’m A New Mom, Due In 2 Weeks And I Was Thinking That I Wanted To Turn My Home Into A Smart Home. Your Nursery Is Perfect And Gave Me So Many New Ideas For My Daughters Nursery! I’m Really Into Tech And This Video Was Perfect 😊 Can’t Wait To See More 🤗
Hello! I have been watching you videos just for a couple days now and I think I've seen so many at this point 😂 My husband and I are expecting in October and are super excited for our first baby after trying for 9 years!! Thank you for your dedication to this channel and it's viewers! I love that even though you "tour" some of the more costly high tech options, you also mention more cost effective options as well!! Excited to have found this channel, my husband has watched some videos with me, and it makes me feel so good to have him involved!
I absolutely love your channel. My husband and I will be trying for our second child this winter and things in the "baby world" have definitely changed even in the short three years it's been since we had our first son. Love watching your reviews!
Bro, I'm expecting my first child and these videos are awesome! really informative for someone whos expecting their first child! Also, That Owlet Smart Sock is a clutch pick!
Wanted to add that Amazon Echo works well just by itself as a baby monitor. You can drop in on the nursery from any other Echo device or your phone, and leave it connected throughout the night. Or even better, Echo Spot + Nest indoor cam. You ask Alexa "show me the nursery" and have the video/audio steamed to the Echo Spot all night. If you hear something, you can easily glance at the screen. Also, can view from your phone or computer.
Haha watching your video my alexa is listening and going crazy trying to turn on lights i haven't got to the nursery i haven't started :D great video though, cant wait to implement some of these amazing ideas.
Hey! Thanks for your video. How did you attach the changing pad to the dresser? I'm going the same route, but want to know if I should attach it, and if so, how? Thanks!
There is a fabric strap that dangles off the changing pad. You can screw that strap down on the back of the dresser to prevent it from sliding far. You can also get a dedicated changing pad dresser topper but it’s not necessary.
You don't have to share if you're not comfortable with it but just wondering if Henry has been sleeping in the nursery since day 1. If not, when did you make the transition?
No worries. For the first three months, he slept in a bassinet by our bed before we transitioned him to his crib. He's now been in his nursery for a month. The sound monitor has made the transition smooth. How and where is Grayson sleeping?
Yeah we figured having a monitor is a must once we have Grayson sleeping in his own room. He's been sleeping in a crib since day 1 in our room. After learning that it was suggested for babies to sleep in the same room for the first 6 months to help reduce the risk of SIDS, we might wait until then. Also, I have really bad anxiety which is making it difficult for me to have him sleep in the nursery. We will see though. Only time can tell!
Ive been so worried over sids and bumpers!!! But after seeing think i think ill purchase that bumper bc i also worry that my baby can harm himself by sticking his feet or arms out
Wonder when the study is done in the future or enough data is available to determine the question of what effect bluetooth waves and other wireless technology radiation have on newborns and into their later years which I am bit suspect about... I could fully automate the nursery with all wireless setup but even the baby monitor makes me wonder.... Being over cautious may not be a good thing (and today's parent wants to over monitor everything) yet we all grew up without these technology and the generation before...
I love the 5:10 comment on the ''mirror being secured so that it doesn't ''fall on the baby'''' xD not the usual way moms would explain it in nursery tours. Like how real the comment is xD
Youtalkfast... but I tried to keep up. I think I get it... how much is Alexa? Henry is a cutie.... congrats to you and your beautiful and lucky wife. Your taking a hands on approach to this project gives you a 👍.
I dig the lights, but I don't really want wireless devices that close to my future child. Seems like it'd be dangerous in such an early stage of development.
Have you tried the Hatch Baby Grow? Changing pad and scale. Great for breastfeeding parents who want to know how much your baby is eating. And the app is phenomenal.
Should've done a video on my son's room: I did a lifx bulbs and a Google home mini, however what I found was that google mini was impractical since you can't really say what you need to command the Google home mini, and mobile was impractical. I ended using Flickr buttons around the place tlwhere you can easily reach. An amcrest 1080p camera, a motionsensor under the mattress if doesn't detect movement etc...
Yay, finally the nursery tour! Thanks for continuing helping with great ideas and product reviews for our own nursery! HAHAHA side note: our Alexa kept activating, sounding slightly confused, as a result of your demonstrations. Thanks again. Looks great!
I knew that would happen! I'm sorry about that, hahahaha. I meant to mute part when I say the "Alexa" wake word. I'll keep that in mind for the next one.
We are following your lead with the “always on” Vtech monitor along with a smart video monitor. Can I ask what settings you used for your Vtechs sensitivity? Trying to figure out what will be best for our newborn in a few weeks. Thanks! Love the videos!
Hi! My name is Samantha, I just subscribed to your channel a couple of weeks ago and I think you and your family are awesome! I enjoy watching your reviews, I think they're really informative and funny. You guys did a wonderful job with the Nursery! My husband's in the military, he's out to sea right now but I can't wait to he comes back home to show him some of the reviews you have, especially this one and the one you did on Amcrest.
Thanks so much for watch Samantha. It makes me happy to know people like you are watching and finding our videos helpful. When does your husband return home?

I was able to show him some of your videos, we both agree that the Amcrest security camera will definitely meet the needs of our home. There are a couple of other products that you mentioned in your videos that we're looking into purchasing. There's so many products to choose from, it can be overwhelming at times. Your videos are really helpful. Thanks again for all the great information : )
If this isnt a proud daddy i dont know what is! you did a awesome job dad!
I stumble upon this video, I just want to say after finishing watching this, I have so much respect and admiration for you. Not all dad are involved in their kids nursery or life for that matter. Kinda sounds like your not happy with your husband at all, which really sucks. Is/was he out there bringing home the bacon?
I love how your videos have the same feel as other tech videos. I get so sick of baby product videos being so slow paced and not having the information that you need to make purchasing decisions. Thank you!!!
yes, I thought so too, its so much better when a man is posting
Way to go!! I dont know any other dad that would wanna get off their butt for 10 minutes to film this good quality video for their son. That really shows that you care! Henry is lucky to have you!!

Men like you are very rare! Most Dads wouldn't give a crap about their childs nursery.
I appreciate that. I hope to get other guys hyped up about how cool and creative they can get in the nursery.

My wife and I are having our first baby in June 2019, so I'm glad I stumbled upon this video. So many new ideas for the nursery! Thank You!
I appreciate that there are not ads! Thank you!
The first segment of the video was an ad
Congratulations it's a wonderful nursery. .Henry is very blessed
Wow! So much respect for you, very refreshing to see a dad that's so involved and genuinely excited for his child! Props, there needs to be more like you!
Thank you Victoria! 😊

I went from a DDLG video to this and I'm so grateful
What a lucky little boy Henry is! You seem like such an awesome dad! Hope you and henry have great memories to come!
Your kid’s first word will be Alexa! Just imagine him screaming Alexa in the middle of the night!😁
Me and my wife are expecting our first child soon and I been working on my daughters nursery myself to surprise my wife. She has no idea how it's going to come out, but trustees me that it'll be nice. This gave me some nice ideas for her room. I'm glad I was able to find tips from a father's view.
This is seriously so cool! Love seeing a nursery tour from a Dad's perspective
We have 3 of the same Ikea dressers, in 3 different colors, one for each bedroom! Love love love them!
Dude- as a New soon to be dad in a few weeks, your content is the best on UA-cam. You’ve helped my wife and I plan on buying everything from our car seats and strollers to how to get our nursery together thoughtfully

How cool to see from a dads perspective! Definitely referring my husband to your page!

Time for Nursery 2.0! Love your videos and information. So incredibly helpful!
Love all of this!! Such an awesome nursery!
Thanks Hannah, stay tuned, I think we're gonna have a 2.0 version fairly soon!
I absolutely love the book sign you made! So stinkin' cute!
My hubby would love to have smart lights all over our house as well as our nursery room! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing! I'm a dad designing the nursery for our 2nd one and I really appreciated your advice from a relatable dude.
I love this!! We’re preparing for baby soon and this is some really great ideas I’ll be showing my fiancé
I absolutely love your channel. My husband and I will be trying for our second child this winter and things in the "baby world" have definitely changed even in the short three years it's been since we had our first son. Love watching your reviews!
Thank you Taylor! Do you have an Instagram? I'd love to see how you progress on trying for your second.
Yes! taylorcross__
I just want to say Great Channel. Love your videos! My wife & I are binge-watching your videos and jotting down lots of ideas.
I love those bulbs. I have the Hue bulbs. I’ll have to check out those.
We’ve got Hue in our bedroom. Love both brands, but Hue has slightly better stability in my opinion.
this is a great video. very proud daddy. im also a daddy of two and im just starting to make videos.
Wow you seem to be a such an amazing dad.
Really like that dresser and crib!
Loved what you guys did. Great baby tech ideas
So cool to see a father's perspective of the nursery. It's a great room! And I love the name Henry :)
I have no idea what to do, but this helps a lot.
Reppin' the Y!!
Bro, I'm expecting my first child and these videos are awesome! really informative for someone whos expecting their first child! Also, That Owlet Smart Sock is a clutch pick!
Nice nursery! Keep up the great work!
Anyone else have no idea why they watched this video... like I don’t even have a kid lol.
SAME LOL
i’m 16...
Because he's super charismatic and informative! And not everything in the nursery is baby specific!
Braiden Cantelon 😂
Braiden Cantelon 😹😹😹... it’s been a year, do you have kids now?
Just wanted to say thanks for all the videos.. 1st baby on the way in November, and there's so much great advice here
Thanks mate, it’s just an amazing tour so far I have seen and I definitely try the way you have made the nursery hopefully for my champ!🤞.
Love your set up

You have given me some good ideas for our newborn 👶
Dad UA-cam channel ? Instant sub
I am so buying that mobile piece. I've been cranking WAY TOO MUCH lmbo Beautiful nursery!
OMG, that thing was a life saver. You'll love it. It's worth every penny.
Haha watching your video my alexa is listening and going crazy trying to turn on lights i haven't got to the nursery i haven't started :D great video though, cant wait to implement some of these amazing ideas.
Love that Brigham Young University Diploma on the wall!! Go BYU!
Hey! Thanks for your video. How did you attach the changing pad to the dresser? I'm going the same route, but want to know if I should attach it, and if so, how? Thanks!

Looks awesome! Where are the blinds from?
I'm making my daughters nursery smarter too. I'm using a smart dimmer switch myself...more cost friendly.
First video I have ever seen.. loved it my husband and I both watched :)
You don't have to share if you're not comfortable with it but just wondering if Henry has been sleeping in the nursery since day 1. If not, when did you make the transition?

Love how involved you are! Also I am LIVING for how techy the nursery is hahah love it!
Ive been so worried over sids and bumpers!!! But after seeing think i think ill purchase that bumper bc i also worry that my baby can harm himself by sticking his feet or arms out
What is the clip/safety belt called on the changing pillow? I'm trying to find it but i cant find it anywhere

Absolutely love thos video gave me so many ideas for my nursery! Realized I don't have to spend way too much on furniture haha.
Amazing video! so inspiring subscribed!
I love the 5:10 comment on the ''mirror being secured so that it doesn't ''fall on the baby'''' xD not the usual way moms would explain it in nursery tours. Like how real the comment is xD
I wish I knew how because I am sure its sooo easy but could you do a tutorial on how to make your book shelft sign?
go mr. dad great video
I should show this to my dad hehe
Honestly loved this . And you do the strollers to omg . But hey can you share what stroller baby Henry uses ?
Love it Dad good job!!!
Some hate on the comment but you keep doing videos salute giving me some ideas
What laundry bag do you guys use for the baby?
Youtalkfast... but I tried to keep up. I think I get it... how much is Alexa? Henry is a cutie.... congrats to you and your beautiful and lucky wife. Your taking a hands on approach to this project gives you a 👍.
Which dresser is that? It’s beautiful
IKEA Hemnes
You're a dope dad. Awesome!
Any plans on updating the nursery with baby number 2 on the way? Reviews on the humidifier?
I dig the lights, but I don't really want wireless devices that close to my future child. Seems like it'd be dangerous in such an early stage of development.
Love this! I am inspired.
This is brilliant
Have you tried the Hatch Baby Grow? Changing pad and scale. Great for breastfeeding parents who want to know how much your baby is eating. And the app is phenomenal.
Let's goooooo!!!!!!
super helpful, thanks dude.
Hey, really like your content. I've found it all to be very helpful. May I ask what color the nursery is? Not sure if you remember the exact name.
Very good video. I also have the upgraded mobile motor. Yours is installed upside down.
Yeah, that's intentional because of the way our hooks were set up on the mobile itself unfortunately.
Thanks, man. Finally, I found a good way to use Alexa in my house. Also, MonBaby smart button is good stuff also, as SIDS is a big problem.
I love the paint color of the room! What color and brand is it?
It's called "Window Pane" by Sherwin-Williams bit.ly/2FCDL04
Great video, super helpful!
Wow! Didn't know that your son was named Henry! Just like our son :D High five!
Word of advice for viewers...don’t play this video near an Amazon Echo😑. Other than that, great and informative video 👍🏼
Hello Caprii mine just went off. 😂😂😂
Haha!! Same when I watch Google home videos. I wish ppl would mute that. 😅
My Alexa started playing lullabies. Lol
We are following your lead with the “always on” Vtech monitor along with a smart video monitor. Can I ask what settings you used for your Vtechs sensitivity? Trying to figure out what will be best for our newborn in a few weeks. Thanks! Love the videos!
V nice 👍🏻
Tiu Review He thankfully returned home last night and will not be going back out to sea for at least 3 years! : ) This is a huge relief for me seeing as how I am 8 months pregnant. Once this baby is born we will be trying for another in order to quickly expand our family so he can build a strong bound with the babies before his next deployment.

There are a couple of other products that you mentioned in your videos that we're looking into purchasing. There's so many products to choose from, it can be overwhelming at times. Your videos are really helpful.
Thanks again for all the great information : )
