Thanks a lot, hun, I didn’t use conditioner, would clean it well, then sand, wipe with the wet paper towel or cloth, let it dry overnight, and finally paint:)
Beautiful dye job on all bags. I have an authentic LV Alma also. For a more classic LV genuine leather look what color would you suggest? For example light brown... cognac..tan? Although I can appreciate the natural darkening of the patina over time the color is uneven and I'd like to lighten it some..

Hi, the problem is these bags are so old, the leather won’t easily absorb the paint. Another thing is that there is an original sealer applied to leather as well. You would really want to take that all off and then paint. Thank you:)

Hi, I would definitely try Vachetta color, it’s the closest match in my opinion:)
