Everything is pretty generic. That plug goes into that plug and so on. 4pin to the top left of the CPU cooler. 24 pin to the right of the CPU cooler. 8 pin to the gpu. Then that one cable that connects to the hard drive. Plus the sata cable to hard drive. All you really need to know.

Bro people have been flocking to Sandy for the past couple years. Im glad I never let mine go. Throw that board away even a cheap Asus board can overclock. Gaming at 3.4ghz sucks. Expect about the performance of around 1st Gen ryzen.

Thanks for the kind words brotha. If you new to the PC build scene i would recommend maybe using the office pc case and not the aftermarket one. It is much easier to do as you only need to replace the power supply and the graphics card. See my $150 build guide for reference.

I recommend that you DO NOT purchase this build. Dell uses proprietary connectors on their motherboards that make case swapping a nightmare. And if you’re going to put it in the old case, you will have to cut out the hard drive cage with a drill. I would suggest buying new parts. Get the Ryzen 5 2600 and the RX 580. It’s insane.
Yes I'm having the same problems. I managed to get the hard drive cage out. But the power supply doesn't have a connector that works with my hard drive so I need to buy a new one.

NoFear Look up a Ryzen 5 3600 Streaming Build. I was going to buy this PC from the video but after doing my own research I decided that it would be a lot more worth it in the long run to just buy new parts and build from scratch. The build that I got was a Ryzen 5 2600 with an RX 580 (8 GB) and 16 GB DDR4 3200. It cost me around $620. For streaming you can spend $100 and get an external capture card, like an elgato, and be able to stream on basically any hardware.

@@Arroeee I think Tech Yesterday and Toasty Bros are the best budget pc builders. But Tech Yesterday is more on budget ( like under ~350$) and the Toasty Bros are more on superior prices (but they do every budget). So maybe it's not the best but for sure he is in the top 5 !

I bought a HP 6200 microtower for 80€ (included shipping) that had an i7-2600,4GB RAM,500GB HDD. It seemed really good and with a few upgrades(put in an SSD,more RAM, dedicated GPU)it became a really good gaming PC.
Its been a month and waiting for the build im fine and im waiting since im doing this for my birthday (april 24) and got time to wait and if prices go down its better for me keep up the great work. I can say that i have done this myself and it works better than the prebuilt 700 dollars ones at retail stores. Last week i just upgraded to an rx 5700 xt but thats a card thst requires a better processor and better power supply. But it all started with trying to build a budget pc like this and i ran through a vid just like this which was my push to start building my own. And thanks to that ive spent 800 dollars on a pc that wouldnof costed 1500 from a retailer

If you are going to use the optiplex case you want a wide one but if you are using the case in the desc you can use a medium sized one I guess just not a small form factor

Please Help!!!!! This is from the 200 build. My power supply won't turn on when I have the four pin connecter attacthed to the motherboard. When it's not connected it turns on fine

Would this run Destiny 2 at 144fps if I'm on low/medium settings? Also when bugging the Dell optiplex, are we buying it just for the CPU and that's it? Because we already have a separate 30$ PC case? Should be able too maybe a little stuttering I have a 4 core and use Sony Vegas for 1080p and it works but there is stuttering sometimes
It will work very well for editing as it has 4 cores 8 threads.

SSD is a great option but not necessary. As we tried keeping the build as low cost as possible we chose a mechanical drive. Great tip tho!

Please Help!!!!! This is from the 200 build. My power supply won't turn on when I have the four pin connecter attacthed to the motherboard. When it's not connected it turns on fine

Solid question I have this system and I wanted to put it into the nzxt h510i case but it doesn’t seem to have compatible connectors? and the motherboard isn’t on pcpartpicker so I can’t check. Are there any adapters? Anybody’s help would be appreciated
Would this run Destiny 2 at 144fps if I'm on low/medium settings? Also when bugging the Dell optiplex, are we buying it just for the CPU and that's it? Because we already have a separate 30$ PC case? The reason I'm asking is because when I looked around on eBay and other sites they have the Dell but some say No HD and some say No OS so I'm wondering if that's a deal breaker or not? What should I look for/need from it for this specific build?

Vaibhav singh well for the first you are playing on medium setting just turn view distance all the way up and Tripura everything else all the way down
And another question is can you put three 4 gb ram sticks in the spots

The graphics Card. If you plug it into the motherboard, then you aren't utilizing the graphics card. Also use HDMI and not VGA haha.
