Which church are true according to the Bible in this world? Because many churches are not true according to this scriptures, Matthew 7:21-23,Roman's 10;1-3,2Corintians 11:12-15,2thimoty 4:3-4,2Peter 2:1-3, and what is Christmas, Goodfriday and Easter according to the Bible ?
This makes it sound as if God brings the trial… it’s Satan who brings the trials… in that process, the good from the bad is it can refine our character. I never want to hear that my child suffers a chronic illness to make my character better. I hate when people say that. That’s not God!! God doesn’t work like that. He doesn’t hurt others and you- to make your character better. Once again, that’s all Satan. But- we have an opportunity in these moments to get closer to God to refine our character. Our words matter…. When we say things like this, it can cause people to turn away from God. It’s important to paint a fair and accurate picture of God. Empathy is key to sharing God’s Word.
This is a very timely message! I just want to share my personal conviction regarding Proverbs 24:16 that it is being quoted completely out of context when we say the godly falling 7 times and getting up again that means they are falling into sin! The fall this text is referring to here is falling into CALAMITIES! Examples are losing a job, being diagnosed with cancer, losing a house to fire, etc.Claiming that a righteous person who falls into sin is still righteous is unscriptural! The robe of righteousness is no longer on us when we fall into sin until we repent! This is the only area that concerned me as I listened to this extremely powerful message! Thank you for preaching the TRUTH and may GOD continue to bless you with the mouth that is used by HIM!!!
