Got one last Fall (2019), put it together w no big trouble. It is the best. Our driveway is short and steep, used it on that too, so the snowblower could make short work of each accumulation.
I just bought two of them and the assembly went better than I thought. I think the directions they give you are for a rake that has 3 sections that snap together as opposed to this newer version that telescopes. It would have been easier if the directions talked you through it instead of just showing you pictures. By the way Home Depot was $3.00 cheaper than Lowes if that helps you make up your mind.
Assembly directions are vague at best. It is not easy to figure out how to assemble them.
I agree, got mine today, it could be so easy for them to add a little more detail to the instructions. got it done though, and it works great, easy to store too

Can't believe this, the screws don't seem to line up and I've been working on it or an hr now!! May take it back, there isn't even a video on it. I'm generally pretty handy, but for something that should be simple, this just isn't acceptable for True Temper to put this out. I wouldn't buy again!
The directions to put this together are awful. The last part of attaching the actual rake to the pole is near impossible and the diagram does not help at all. So agrevating. How about a video to explain it all?
