Your explanation of this game is far, far better than a very popular review I watched yesterday. From that review I determined that the game was too complicated to enjoy, and from yours, I can see that it looks like something I might try. Nice job!
That really means a lot to me! I work hard on making things understandable, appreciation is always a wholesome thing =) And yes, the game is quite complicated, but it seems to have potential. I gotta sink my teeth deeper in though ^^
@@Ic0nGaming The company should hire you to represent their game! You make what appears to be an over complicated game quite a bit easier to understand. Good luck!
Agreed. I checked out similar reviews/guides and they were pretty vague and a bit annoying. This guy speaks plainly with no messing about which is appreciated.
"Your explanation of this game is far, far better than a very popular review I watched yesterday. " watched like four of "those". Made my blood boil. Cause they call it "tutorial/tips" instead of "obvious trivia for those who has no brain". And yeah - this on is not just better, It is actually good. Cause better than shit can still be shit. But this is actually good. Saved me some wiki reading :)
Relatively short and concise, as well as avoiding telling people what's "optimal" a brief few comments on what's important for beginners, but otherwise just general mechanics. Thank you for avoiding spoilers and giving a thorough explanation guide without making it a step-by-step guide.
Yeah, they really managed to create an intense and close to the book atmosphere! I'm now merely waiting for the full release, don't wanna suffer from Early Access Overplay Burnout ^^
I've only just discovered you covered this game, I just got my first win on skirmish and done it as the fremen, now trying out house atradies. Very excited to watch what ill learn from you. If you haven't already could you do a updated video or even a series on skirmish or conquest? I think you will have very entertaining coverage on this game
New subscriber and I was able to bring you toa nice, even 300 likes! I would love to see an update to these tutorials. You are the only one I could find that actually explains things clearly, however, much has changed since this video was made. I've been enjoying the game and also getting extraordinarily aggravated with it! The in-game tutorials are useless (I can figure out how to move the screen - what I need to know is the actual mechanics of the system!) and after losing a couple sections, I decided I needed some help - though that is proving hard to find specific answers on. The last mission I had was an assassination mission and I needed 3 spies on House Corrino and then assassinate the head. I could only get one spy attached to them and the other slots just say, "infiltrations cells required". Fine - I check my espionage section, all the research menus, etc. and I find it and it was already checked off for House Corrino so I had/have no idea how to proceed. I took over half the map hoping it would just happen if I kept up the pressure and kept a spy in their midst (which they captured 4(!) that round - more than any other one I had played to that point), and then suddenly lost when they assassinated me because the computer actually knows how to do these things! Very frustrating. I know this game would be / will be fun once I know where everything is and how to use it, but they do not make it easy. Sorry to keep rambling, but the loss before that, I had to wipe out House Corrino - easy enough. I threw everything I had at their Imperial Base and was wiped out repeatedly. The first real siege I lined up my troops and attacked form both sides. After a while, once I got it down to one tiny bar of health, it just stopped taking damage and they shipped in a half dozen troops from out of nowhere! Anyway, I'll watching and hopefully figure out what it expects of me!
THANK you for doing this video. I only play RTS games every once in a while (I'm an RPG and SIM girl mostly) and I could not get by on super easy settings! This game needs an in-game tutorial badly. I want to like the game but there is too much I cannot figure out on my own. Honestly, if the Devs just copy write your lesson here and have someone read it while showing everything in-game as a tutorial, it would be perfect :D THANK YOU! I was so lost.
my god. An actual tutorial 😂. Like - not made for people challenged on intellectual level by lazy a-holes challenged on intellectual level, but an actual informative, useful tutorial. I mean - if this is not the first tutorial video on a youtube you watch, you understand what I am referring to :). Great job and thank you!
@@Ic0nGaming well - thank you for being an actual human being with a functioning brain 😂 I just get really dramatic and triggered when people talk without making any actual sense or progress. So naturally I appreciate people - that small percentage of the whole population - that can actually talk "business".
this game is sooooooooo confusing, if you want to play it, you have to have quite good English. specially vocabulary is not giving chance to play via beginner English. i tried 5-6 times to play puffff even if i want to move agent slot, i spent 5 minutes to find it, i click almost everywhere, worst second time i couldn't remember where was it.

The best guide I've seen so far. Keep up the great work!
That's too kind! =)
Thanks for the overview. The right amount of information to jump in and get started without explaining every little detail.
I really enjoy how atmospheric as well as how in-depth this game is. Can’t wait for the campaign!

Hands down the best guide on youtube
Wonderful work, very clear explanations, thanks!
Thanks for explaining the parts i was confused about. Appreciate it very much and thanks!
Brilliant Guide, best I’ve came across. 👍
This video is amazing! I thank you for this great tutorial. This is a must watch for anyone starting this game as a complete new comer.
Epic guide friend. The best I've seen thus far sir! Can't wait to see more!!

Thanks for the guide Ic0n! I decided to pick the game up and support the devs. Looks great. Cheers

Thanks man I needed this
Wow great tutorial. Awesome detail and you are easy to follow ✌
Old but great guides for sure than the others. Easy to follow. Wondering if you're playing this game again since there's a new updates recently?
Great tutorial :)
Very glad to see it still holds up even after the early access =)
Good guide! Minor update, since the latest update you need an copter with your harvester.

Is it possible to play really noble Atreides? I mean to annex neutral villages only peacefully?
Did the auto recall for spice mining get taken out of the game with update #2?
Will you make a playthrough-series?
I do plan on different formats, some more guides and gameplay for sure as well!
GG!
