“We’re all destined to have to do the thing that we fear the most.” This definitely summarises this period in McConaughey's career and THIS video in general.
Great essay, thank you for making and posting. His reinvention has been a very satisfying thing to witness. His name being attached to a project will now get my immediate attention. He has that quality that makes him special in Hollywood, range.
He really became one of the most talented actors in the 2010s after his period in the early 2000s of romantic comedy movies. And it’s sad he wasted too much a decade in cheesy rom-com when also in the 90s he did some excellent performances and great movies
As a teen whose dream is becoming a big actor & writer in Hollywood, I'm addicted to your videos fr fr 💀😭 Easily one of my favorite channels ever, keep going 👏🏻❤ Btw I'm working on my first real movie script, wish luck y'all :)❤
i don't think he needs a comeback. As an actor he has already achieved what he needed to. We, the audience on the other hand do need his comeback as a reason to go the cinemas to something special, different, spectacular and convincing as his previous performances.
A career I love to follow Before the renaissance he really did have two paths, rom coms and everything else. So he always had the real power. Also Killer Joe I stand by is his best performance

"ALL RIGHT! ALL RIGHT! ALL RIGHT!" - Matthew McConaughey
One of my favorite actors, always fun to watch.

He didn't waste it, blame Hollywood producers/directors that didn't want to cast him in anything besides dumb rom coms
Supporting role in The Gentleman???? He was the main character bud.

I always thought when will he make a video on him
Haha I originally planned to make one half a year ago but it got shelved because some other ideas came up. Glad I finally got the chance to make it
@FilmStack ohh well can you make one on Cillian Murphy that guy seems deep
I’ll add it to the list! I’m currently watching Peaky Blinders so maybe after I’m done that
Rusty will always be a top notch character. Living legend
A career I love to follow
Before the renaissance he really did have two paths, rom coms and everything else. So he always had the real power.
Also Killer Joe I stand by is his best performance
Rust Cohle has entered the chat and started monologing about eternity and the fragile essence of existence
Love your channel
Great synopsis! BUT! 22:00 I don't think a raging fire movie is a good move. Bad timing.😮😮😮😢😢
Mud is one of his hidden gems
#AlrightAlrightAlright
i need to watch interstellar
It’s so good! One of my favourite Christopher Nolan films (maybe even my favourite)
Uvalde is about 5-6 hours from Dallas, but sure it’s right outside
What If Sony had owned the rights to Transformers (TF) instead of ParaMount
I love a filmstack vid
Alright, alright, alright
Now all I see him in are ubereats commercials
His next big thing is the game Exodus.
Good actor, but.. damn does he smoke much in his films? :p
His entertaining in movies but watching him unscripted do interviews and his boring
