In my opinion, Fluke has nothing similar to these, Fluke should be compared with The Crystal Method, Cirrus, Lunatic Calm, Overseer, etc, as they are more energetic, as if they were to be listened to while at a party at night in a big city
FLUKE understood very well the border area between SYNTH POP, TECHNO and Progressive House. Their sound was intelligent, solid, dynamic-energetic at the same time soft-gentle (for techno arts) and unique. Unfortunately the last album (Puppy) was released in 2003. I had often travelled through european countries with trains and I have listened all the time on my train-trips only FLUKE tracks. Personally to me SOUND OF FLUKE means = fast moving forward and reaching destinations!
Agreed. Much of the stuff that falls into the same genre(s) is never a match for Fluke. I've heard most of them & they all sound pretty generic & all lack the "intelligent" element that you've described. Mike Tournier is a genius & Syntax's Meccano Mind reveals that as well. Completely unique. I never really took to 2 Bit Pie. I think that's because Mike Tournier was not involved.

Maybe only the parallels between boths acts are BIG BEAT BOMBAST SOUND and ELECTRONIC (Techno). The roots of The Crystal Method are definitely BREAKS. And the roots of FLUKE are SYNTH POP and HOUSE! P.S.: Another point! The Crystal Method is from USA, and FLUKE is from UK. This is always different types of schools, although using the same language!

UK have more cultural and beneficial freedom i suppose... The old rave illegal rave parties where Prodigy came from. The pirate radios from the 90ies and early millenium. I dont know they still do it? The internet changed the consumer behaviors... No mass parties with business. Just natural organized people...anyway, Leftfield, Underworld, Future sound of London (Amorphous Androgynous), Unkle, are the same pioneers of music. US: Crystal Method ! They got some gem albums too.
Listen to this when you feel that you can't go on...just dig deep and be strong. Also, if you feel you lived too long, then you just hang tough and dream on.
