Jon Lord summed up my feelings perfectly regarding this line up. People put too much emphasis on the fact that this line up was 3/5ths Rainbow and not enough emphasis that it is still 4/5ths Purple. Slaves and Masters is a DAMN good album and in my top 5 Purple albums of all time.
