Not seen anyone mention this yet, Emiliano Sala was a football player who was due to be transferred from Nantes to Cardiff City. Tragically he never made it as his private plane disappeared over the English Channel. I believe they found the wreckage and Sala’s body, but never the pilots. A couple dozen or so theories are about in regards to what happened but there’s no confirmed story.
No darling, we left that for you to do. you say it so much better. Thank you. May he rest in peace.
I don't know if it was true or not but it said in 2019 David Henderson, who arranged the flight, was given an 18-month prison sentence for aviation offences relating to arranging the flight. The jury concluded Sala died in the crash having been overcome by toxic levels of carbon monoxide from the aircraft's faulty exhaust system. But like you say there isn't a confirmed story or explanation, bro he was only 28 when it happened. He would have been a game changer for Cardiff city, R.I.P
@@themoistpink He was also found guilty less then 5 months ago of emplying a unqualified pilot who shouldn't even have been flying 🤷♂️
It was such a tragic waste of life. So sad.
He made it for the signing but flew back to say bye to his team mates .. It was on the return from that his plane came down. 😔
Celtic once sang a song about rival gk Andy goram (recently passed away) goram had recently been diagnosed with schizophrenia and the celtic fans started chanting "there's only 2 Andy goram". He apparently seen the funny side 😂
I heard they did it to try and screw with his head
I think it was Kilmarnock fans who did that.
I remember watching on TV when Fabrice Muamba collapsed during the game and the stadium cheered his name and had me in tears. Was amazing watching him go back to the stadium once he recovered
As a true bwfc fan I was at the game and had a clear view of everything that was happening, a sight I hope I never see again, the shock was universal both on and of the pitch and the outpouring of genuine love and concern from the Tottenham fans towards the Bolton fans was truly amazing and appreciated. It showed that whilst we support different sides at heart we really are one big family.
I'm a Liverpool fan and was in a pub watching that game and it was loud busy but when he collapsed the whole place went silent
The last song was from liverpool, they have a gig after most games called boss night. It's just a gig for the fans with loads of songs about the club. Boss night has its own UA-cam channel massively worth checking out
and it's very cringe
@@lukespooky nearly as cringe as invading the pitch celebrating not getting relegated
@@Jay-vi9we lad liverpool invaded the pitch when they beat tranmere rovers in a pre-season friendly
In Malmö, Malmö FF, we only invade the pitch when we win the league and the cup.
22nd time for the league last season and 15th time for the cup now in May.
@@lukespooky that's how vile they are
*Bradford City* - *Pie Song.*
A random song about a man eating pie.
It was started by Bradford City fans, as we were winning 3-0, but the game had got boring, so they started singing about a man who had bought a hot pie, but didn't have any cutlery, or any condiments.
It went on for about 5-10 minutes.
Big up the Bantams
You only need to comment once
Men like eating pies lol
Our big league clubs like these you react to are an amazing feeling the atmosphere is electric but for us that live in smaller towns we have our local club we watch every Saturday afternoon. We have our own town chants and drums playing sometimes the pipes it’s amazing stuff. And you were wondering where they learn them all im pretty sure they still all gather in local pubs and while drinking they come up with a lot of them 😂🇬🇧 I have boys so I’m always at the football great atmosphere ✌🏽
It's so refreshing to see an American see the genius in our banter lol. Great video bro. New subscriber.
*Bradford City - Seagull Chants.*
A song that Bradford City started when playing Blackpool.
Blackpool fans weren't turning up to games, because they wanted to get rid of their chairman.
Blackpool is also full of seagulls, as it's a seaside town.
Therefore the stadium was practically empty, but was full of seagulls.
Seagull is a proud salopian
Rubbish
4 West Brom players stole a taxi in Spain, apparently asked the driver to get 8 cheeseburgers and then drove off. Can't remember who the two other players were but i think it was Gareth Barry & Jake Livermore, both England internationals too lol
Our chants are the best ever 🏴🇬🇧
7:35 Emiliano Sala was an Argentinian striker who had agreed to sign for Cardiff City, but on the way there his plane went down. The police found the plane and his body but not that of the pilot. It's now believed that a toxic gas knocked them both unconscious due to damage to the plane and as a result 3 men were all charged with manslaughter.
JT love the content 💞 keep up the work my dude can't wait till you come to the UK
If I'm correct the taxi song was about West Bromwich Albion who had players in Spain who stole a taxi after asking the driver to order them burgers. He went to buy the burgers, they drove off.
Gareth Barry stolen the taxi,
Wirh Jonny Evans and Jake Livermore. Its was embarrassing on the club but as WBA fans we made a chant from it.
Saved me a weird Google search 👀👌😂
i always felt our football chants are a bit of a throwback from the war and the songs our ancestor created and sang during their long marched across the European continent.
i blame the romans....fookin can'ts
The Sala one is so sad. That chant about him in this video is by Cardiff fans, who Sala had just signed for but had not even played a single game for yet. He went back to Nantes (France) to say farewell to the fans there and was never seen again.
*From Wiki:* On 21 January 2019, the Piper Malibu aircraft, which was flying Sala from Nantes to Cardiff, disappeared off Alderney. The same aircraft and pilot had flown Sala to Nantes two days earlier. On 23 January, Channel Islands Air Search reported that there was "no hope" of finding any survivors in the water.
Sala was a footballer who died in a plane crash on the way to the uk
How have you not reacted to *Eurovision!!!*
It’s amazing!!!
*(Btw love your content you always make me laugh)*
The last one was under the seats in the stadium, they don't tend to pretty them up so they do have a industrial feel.
Beards looking great JT! Emiliano Sala was an Argentinian player who unfortunately died in a plane crash in the English Channel. He signed for Cardiff City from the French club Nantes, but died before he could play for his new club. There's been an ongoing legal battle between the two clubs around paying his transfer fee.
What a shame, you'd think out of humanity both teams would agree to waive the fee or pay a percentage of it to his family or something...
JT love it mate
seriously, you share a few words with a couple of mates and some one adds a bit and you get a song, though some are worked out in the pub and shared with a larger group before hand. brits are musically inventive and have the best music anyhow, especialy when you remember just how few of us thier are, were inventive by nature. there are two clubs equal footing for first football chant and they played eachother the week before it was recorded as a new phenomina, i can only remember one of them though, because its my team
Number 9.. ha ha,
I'm from Sunderland 🤣
Ftm
Also. The chant about Jermain Defoe. Search 'Bradley Lowery Sunderland' and the battle that local lad did and the friendship between Bradley & Jermain. If you don't cry at the story, you aren't human
Number 6 are the Holmesdale Fanatics, and in that clip, they are supporting their club, Crystal Palae, at an away fixture. They have an entire "Singing Section" at Selhurst Park, and are responsible for some amazing visual displays, never having to resort to illegal pyrotechnics.
They spend the off-season coming up with new stuff, and are generally acknowledged to be top-tier when it comes to fan engagement. Even Wembley Stadium let them in early to set up the visuals around the seats!
New stuff? They literally copy everything 😂
@@JF1908x lol mate ur clearly triggered and have a thing against them
The second song by Newcastle fans about Sunderland has loads of verses are added or changed as time goes on
Gareth Barry - who has the most appearances ever in the premier league stole the taxi on a night out in Barcelona 😂
You should defo try get to a game, sometimes videos cant even give you the feels of being involved in this. Its brilliant haha
I'm shocked this isn't considered normal in other countries tbh. Even when we where in Yr 1 (5-6) on sports day the different teams would go OFF at eachother. Eg, I was on team yellow on all sports days and the other teams would shout at us 'YELLOWS! YELLOWS! WHY ARE THEY YELLOW? THEY PISS THE BED AND SHAG MARSHMALLOWS!' and 'YELLOWS! YELLOWS! THEY'RE BIG FAT FELLOWS!' and we had it easy compared to poor reds lol
Mohamed Salah is one of Liverpools greatest players, he is Egyptian, he has just renewed his contract with Liverpool!!!!
91k subs buddy!!
I'm looking forward to seeing what design you pick out for the tattoo, when you do hit the 100k
I think that Crystal Palace we love you song is the best, they seem to be the only fan base in England which is actually properly orchestrated like in Europe and they always make a racket at our place
It’s embarrassing
@@JF1908x you seem but triggered mate
@@thebasicyoutuber6077 I’m not trigged at all? Does having an opinion mean I’m triggered? Their little “ultra” group is embarrassing and nothing they do has any originality to it.
Sala was a player completing his transfer from a Spanish team to Cardiff which is in Wales and when he got on a private jet to fly over to the UK his plane went down over the English Channel and the player Sala died and so did the pilot. It happened a few years ago now but it was massive news in the footballing world/community as he was young with a bright future ahead of him and he was just making it to the big pay days.
The second thing is with football matches, its like ecstacy with the adrenaline in your body is pumped up and ready to go. There is nothing that comes close to that pure buzz and excitement that you get from being at the grounds and singing with 50/60,000 fans in harmony.💯
Achually it's was a French team.
I remember this is was France
Lol OK calm down it was France not Spain.🤙
@@callumshaw902 I'm calm brother
@@toolittletoolate1900blessed bro. I just know how the Internet as a whole can jump on the tiniest mistake made in a comment.🤙
Jamie Webster entertains 50k Liverpool fans in Madrid best chants EVER!!!
You want to hear some of the chants just hours after Boris Johnson has resigned his role of prime minister. We are a brutal nation.
Yeah we can certainly come up with a good chant! Respect JT!
Whatever person or group starts the chant, the people around them join in and it grows from there
As a fan that goes to a game basically every week, if you’re in a group of lads and just shout the start of a chant everyone just joins in👍🏻
I'm a Saints fan (Southampton FC) we're in the first video (Number 10). As much as its a great chant, we weren't the first to come up with it haha.
As always, great video man 🤘
You need to here the different football chants of West Ham United football club!! They come up with some actual beauties 🤣 especially the Jarrod Bowen and Dani Dyer one 🤣🤣🤣
Been a while since you got my recommended list. The beard has come on massively haha. Impressive for 21/22yo
Sala was a footy player that was travelling in a plane with a pilot that had no experience in flying during the night and with a storm blowing, his plane crashed and both were killed- its a messy story
Glad they featured a Newcastle United one. (Sunderlands a massive club, are the F). But theres loads of others they could have included. Blaydon Races. We are the Geordies, Drunk and disorderly, Bruno's magic hat. Theres loads. We practically fill 90 minutes each game singing them.
basically to start a chant you have to feel the atmosphere there and then just shout fairly slow and really loud the first couple words of the chant lol
Fans make these songs up on the coach/train before the game, in the pub or inside the ground spontaneously.
Away games in the England you can be travelling for anywhere between 10mins and 5 hours. This entire time is usually spent Drinking and making up songs. Once you arrive at a stadium you are usually pushed towards a Pub or area to drink that is mostly Segregated from the 'Home support'. For hours before the game starts.
For instance if I travel from Manchester to a game in London at 3pm Saturday. I will probally set off 6am to get a coach. Will get some beers and start drinking the entire way to the stadium. (Throw up at the Watford services and get some more beer and a mcdonalds) then arrive in London/at the ground at 12/1pm. Then spend the remaining time in the pub or at the bars inside the ground untill kick off at 3pm.
The entire journey everyone makes up songs, sings current or old ones gets drunk. Football / Music / boxing usually have the same tribal set of fans.
Watch Ricky Hatton vs Floyd Mayweather build up you will see the exact same kind of chanting etc in those videos.
u should watch the scottsh fans in lindon before and after their game with england during the last world cup they r hilarious they filled the fountains with bubble bath etc and had a ball then went and cleaned up after themselves on the streets of london the next day the scots know how to chant and party,
Number 6 that’s my team 😁
Also here at the palace we have the ultras who are fans that go to every game and sit at the fun to encourage chants
How Timo Werner’s remix of Human League never made it I’ll never know - banger
Sala was a player that was going to Cardiff City from Nantes (I think) and died in I believe the English Channel due to a plane crash. Rip Sala
Sala was a professional footballer who was ment to become a Cardiff City player but tragically lost his life after a plain crashed into the English Channel. Sala's body was found but the pilot ever was found.
Cardiff then refused to pay the £15 million fee they agreed to buy him for and the case has now gone to Court.
Sala was a player coming from a French team and was in a plane crash and was found dead under water. That's the short story.. search: emiliano sala it was tell you everything
Time to check out Australian Football. It’s wildly different than a lot of other codes of football. Start with:
“AFL Biggest Hits Part 1” 4 ministers of absolute chaos!
Like the last chant, the tune is from a song called dirty old town.
Being a Liverpool supporter I sure do love that oles at the wheel chant.. gonna miss it..
How many games you been
normally with chants, one person starts it, then the crowd repeats what the guy who started it says, but obviously u cant hear the one guy over the noise of the many :) you should defo come see newcastle united if u get a chance if u come to england, best atmosphere in england :)
Yass tooooon
New sub from England..
In the Newcastle chant about Sunderland they missed "you get your hotdog sausage in a burger bun" Sunderlands a massive club lol
The last 3 were liverpool fc
Sala refers to Mo Salah a striker who we don't want to leave.
The Sunderland song (free ticket in happy meal) was actually another club singing and making fun of them
Sala was a player sold by Nantes in france to Cardiff city in wales. his plane took off to bring him to his new club and crash landed killing everyone inside. this is not olnly very sad but has now been proved that the pilot was qualified to fly in the dark and corners were cut which led to the accident. its a black mark against the sport unfortunately!
Number 4 - They aren't singing that anymore haha!
Man bouces his head to chants like he's listening to music
The British fans are 2nd to none 🇬🇧👍🏻🇺🇲
5:17 there's a boss that directs gli ultra, or someone starts and then little by little anyone sings
It really isn't just England fans. It's just the premiership is most watched league
Number 2 is my club Cardiff City. Sadly Sala was a player cardiff city signed and when he was flying over from France to Cardiff, Wales his plane crashed and killed both him and the pilot of board. RIP
Number 1 and 3 are my fellow Liverpool fans. We invented singing songs on the terraces in the 60s.
Chants are normally learnt in the pubs, then taken to the stands for the games
the song at number 5 about a real gent in football jermain defoe. he befriended a young fan called bradley lowery who had a terminal illness
Yes from rangers great player he was absolutely beautiful with this wee lad sadly little man passed away and from each and every rangers player and fans rest in eterenal peace little one xxx
Its a shame we never show up on these. Little old pompey gets a mention from big influences in all of football (ronaldinho, morinho, alan ball etc) for being some of the best fans around
Love watch Shia Lebouf reactions, keep it up👍
Sorry, but how is 'Will Grigg's on fire' not in that person's list?! It's iconic!
Says the players haven’t really been attacked forgetting “41 players no one knows, Sunderland’s a massive club, are they fuck”
It's coming home (btw Ole's at the wheel is a man utd chant and the liverpool fans were singing it)
Look at any of the sunderland play off final videos from taking over trafalgar Square to Wembley. The best song is either wise men say or by for the greatest team... goose bumps

Sala is a player who was bought from a European team by an English team but on the way to England the plane crashed and he unfortunately passed away
The current Rubén Neves chant is one of my favourites!
Sala is a person who was on a plane going to wales and sadly the plane crashed in the sea and sadly died
The orchestrator is normally the drunkest man 🤣🤣🤣
Best chant ever was Norwich fans “ let’s pretend we scored a goal “ 🤩
Allez, Allez, Allez. Blessings from Co Durham UK.
Loved seeing the man u chant top class comedy act
Number 9 is from Newcastle where I live 😂
Hello mate. You made a comment on one of your videos asking about how the chants started etc. Watch Jamie Webster boss night Madrid. 50000 Liverpool fans in Madrid before the ucl final. Unbelievable mate. Give it a watch. Hopefully see it soon on your channel. Take care mate
Sala was the guy who was due to sign for Cardiff City from a French team I believe the plane he was on crashed into the English Channel and he sadly lost his life rip to him 😢
Defo a Liverpool fans video , surprised he put Ole’s at the whee in there but then again he may have been taking the piss 😂
Liverpool supporters had a better version of number 5 for a defensive player with a knack for scoring long range screamers: "Johhhhhn Arne Riise, Ooh Aah, I wanna know-ow-ow, how you scored that goal!". He loved it and while celebrating a goal the crowd would sing this and he would respond by shrugging his shoulders!
Brilliant!
Sala was a footballer killed when the small plane he was on crashed into the English Channel.
You should do a video on football hooligans
Watch the Boro all night long chant it's amazing
And have had some classics over the years too: I mean, the genius that came up with “One Job on Teesside” for Joseph Desire Job…
The taxi is west Bromwich albion when a player who played for us at the time stole a taxi in Spain his name was Gareth Barry
Palace = Crystal Palace. It’s a Sainsbury’s supermarket when they’re not playing. I found out it was a football club too when I walked all the way there one match day when I lived there. Great getting there. Not so much fun walking up the massive hill on the way back. Went to a few concerts there in the summer. I became quite fond of Palace. Not like clubs up North though.
grab a meal deal pre match whats not to love XD
The ooooaaa woooooaaa was originally a Glasgow rangers chant from Scotland but aload of the English teams took it
My favourite ones are three lions on my shirt and vindaloo
Gareth Barry Wba stole a taxi while in pre season in Spain 😂😂😂😂
The Ole’s at the wheel song came back to haunt Man Utd when the team didn’t do as well as expected with a former quality player in charge as manager. Opposition sides sang that song back at the Man Utd fans and team when it all went a bit pear shaped.
Rival fans singing Ole's at the wheel was epic. I miss Ole, he was such a crap manager.
Aged well that one
@@benry007 crap manager but can't deny he's the reason united won the treble without his second goal they'd of gone ET, But that just goes to show never have a legend at your club as manager roll on Gerard taking over shitty pool lol 🤣

Sala was meant to be transferred to the football team that I support wich is Cardiff but less than a month after signing he died in a plane accident and that’s why the chant was made RIP sala 🔵🐦💙💙💙
