This era of music is one of the only things I can study or read with because it doesn't distract me with words. Plus with the length of the video, I never have to worry about ads popping up between videos. I also like the fact that this video doesn't contain ads throughout like so many others.

This year our flowers and vegetable gardens are the biggest we've ever grown. So we setup a little pool for the kids next to the gardens under a pecan tree and played this music all day. It felt like we were living in a different time.

You're so right but in my case within the past couple years I just started keeping the Sirius XM Classical Music Station on all night because they play full symphonies unlike alot of terrestrial Classical Music Stations.
I remember learning about these classical compositions in college. I appreciated my professor (who was German by the way), making it fun. He would tell us the background story about each composer from Beethoven to Vilvaldi and then he would play the music. He would make us close our eyes and listen to each composer and then we would have to guess their name and the name of each piece. The class was so much fun i remember receiving an A- in the course. I still have the CD that we were required to buy for the class. It was a true musical history lesson that i enjoyed so much.
This collection of the best Baroque music allows us to appreciate what was most outstanding in that period. These are unforgettable moments of pleasure given the quality of the interpreters and the grace, elegance and beauty of the magnificent music produced. I also like the paintings from the Baroque era. I like this painting a great deal. A lot of the music sites on you tube have interesting paintings that go along with the different eras of music. This is a nice addition to the overall musical experience.

Excessive recorder music is one. One of the Brandenbergs has long recorder section and if the tempo and tone are not right I can not bear to listen to it. It is 1.27am here and my memory goes off line at about 10.30pm so I cannot remember which one it is. Enjoy all the music, whatever the genre.
@@4381Junior Mozart did some commercial pieces that are not so great unless you compare them to lesser composers. Mozart's great works are indeed great even if they are not up to the caliber of Beethoven.

This is beautiful, compositions of Baroque music speaks to heart and soul. I enjoy it mostly when dealing with complex work stuff and doing my assignments. Soothing music.
I really love to listen to music from the Baroque era. It really lifts my spirits. I really love Bach. I also like to listen to Bach's harpsichord sonatas. Vivaldi was also a great composer.
This is quite a wonderful selection, & very well played. No matter how familiar we are with these pieces, it is always welcome to bring them together in performances that we may not have heard (or even if we have, of course), & in a sequence different from how we may have grouped our listening previously. Even better, when a "new" (to me) composer is part of it: the Arne overture, delightful in itself. It also flows nicely into the Purcell, whose music I love & think is under-appreciated. From what I just read it sounds like you're tast in music has gotten more refined and you like music that actually makes you think and actually has you listening to every note and instrument that's being played unlike music of today were most of it is turned out for the masses( most people of today don't want to take the time and sit and invest into listening to instrumental pieces that require listening to every note and instrument being played) and to make a quick dollar.

This is quite a wonderful selection, & very well played. No matter how familiar we are with these pieces, it is always welcome to bring them together in performances that we may not have heard (or even if we have, of course), & in a sequence different from how we may have grouped our listening previously. Even better, when a "new" (to me) composer is part of it: the Arne overture, delightful in itself. It also flows nicely into the Purcell, whose music I love & think is under-appreciated. Many, many thanks.

From what I just read it sounds like you're tast in music has gotten more refined and you like music that actually makes you think and actually has you listening to every note and instrument that's being played unlike music of today were most of it is turned out for the masses( most people of today don't want to take the time and sit and invest into listening to instrumental pieces that require listening to every note and instrument being played) and to make a quick dollar.
