@@abigailgooglybear570 I only had it for a year, but I think it broke due to user error. Warranty was going to cover it but at the time I just assumed Bissell was the better brand so I returned it. It was a huge mistake, returned the Bissell and ordered the S5 and it is amazing!
@@troyvo8069 Hope it's not too long ago, but have to ask why you hated the Bissell? I've seen some side by side reviews of them both together. Seems to be pros and cons. The S5 is supposed to blow them both away though.
Thanks for sharing! Debating this today, a year after your post - cause it's Prime Day, and this thing went on sale for 1/3 off... love the helper dog! Our guys ran from the vacuums more than investigating. =)
When, after self-cleaning, I take out the roller to dry, I do not replace it with another dry one, the tineco simply charges without the roller. but while charging, the engine seems to be working quietly and the power icon appears once from left to right, then a break and again until it reaches 100%, is it supposed to be like that??
please tell me this still works? im one step before purchasing, and people on reddit and amazon reviews had their machine broken right after the 2 year warranty and less.
Mine is still fine but we don't go crazy with it and use it that much either cuz I have two other vacuums I use too. 😂 If I need to mop, this comes out

Yes buttttt keep in mind that any food that is sucked up is mixed with water so it's pretty icky to clean the vacuum out. Not sure there's a solution for that beyond sweeping first.
Hi!! I have a golden retriever and thinking of buying this cleaner. Since you have a dog as well, do you experience any tangling of dog hair within moving parts?
I just bought one of these on the prime Day deal. I'll message you back later today and let you know how it goes just got it out of the box and charging right now
@@jmantruthseeker3274 I went with Tineco pure one s12. This thing is awesome. Auto mode works real good, definitely 'go to' cordless vacuum if you got no carpets at home. There is only hard surface head comes in the box(and other accessories), for carpet,, you got to get it extra.
Live the review, but cleaning your dirty tank full of water is not a downfall unless you are lazy. Who wants that water sitting in anything in their home? Lol
I agree 100%, but you can't just do a quick vacuum around with it and expect to pop it back on the charging station. Also, I don't really mind emptying the dirty water, but we have two carpet steam cleaners and occasionally I'll discover other people in my family used it but left dirty (or both the dirty and clean) tank full... given we don't use the carpet steam cleaner often (as we mostly have hardwood), it's HORRIBLE when someone forgets to empty it. You just need to know your people. LOL. Needless to say, *I* love this vacuum and I threatened my people because I don't want it to smell like poo. I may add labels for warnings/reminders at some point. ;)
Great review and what a cute dog! 😍
Thank you! 😊
So mopping walking forward drove me nuts, almost as bad as you slamming into the baseboards 😂😂

You never showed anything about the detachable hand unit????
I had the floor one S3 and loved it. It broke and so I decided to try the Bissell cross wave, and I hate it. Returning and gonna get the s5 now!
If you don’t mind me asking, how long did the s3 last before it broke?

Hahahaha yes! I need a better robot vacuum for my Aussie to herd. 😂
Nice video! Love the flooring!
Thanks!

How often do you change the filter and mop roller ?
Thank u for this video! I have this vacuum in my Amazon cart. After ur video, I really want this vacuum! I just need the money! Lol
It's pretty neat! I feel like I've officially reached old age, geeking out over cleaning products 😂
@@doityourselfdanielle omg, me too! I love a good household gadget! Lol
Can you clean under the bed, where you need to straighten up the handle a little bit?
How do you review this and not show the combo feature...
is the handheld vacuum unit any good?
I wanna know this too; most reviews seem to gloss over that part because it's just a secondary aspect of the star of the show...
How good is that handheld vac? Would it be well enough for cleaning my carpeted steps?
My concern is on hardwood floors, which looked like it left the floor really wet, vs.using a steam mop/vac.
Yeah, I noticed that in the video too. Seems everyone's floors are different - some videos you see the floors looking pretty dry immediately after.
i think she had it on max not on auto thats why
And keep cleaning till the lop changes from red to blue. Otherwise the floor is not clean yet 😉
Lol Lil rough with it huh.. How's it holding up. I have the S3
No issues so far, but do I use it as much as we should? No. LOL. We are ALWAYS rough on everything.

Do you find any problems with pet hair? Does it clog the machine or get stuck in the brush?
It's mostly just gross to clean out. Wet + fur is pretty nasty, but I do it for my carpet cleaner too so I'm sort of immune to it.
Does it work on carpet? Or only for hard floor?

Is this good enough to pick up after my 1 year old throws food on the floor? Cheerios, bits of fruit, pasta ect?

Right? Any thing with a water tank will need to be cleaned?
I don't like that it doesn't reach my edges....... POOP
Looking at the specs, it should on one side (right), it's just the left side.
It sure talks a lot 🤣
