Jimmy, You have missed your calling… Such a wonderful piece of art. Well done and congratulations. Ability and talent rolled into one. 100% our dear friend.
I watched that whole video, and i still have no idea how you turned a bunch of gap filling foam and insulation boards into art. Epic video thank you for sharing!
Jimmy Diresta always making it look an seem so ez. Great video as always today Jimmy. Can't wait to see what you decide to throw together and make next. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Make It. Keep Making. God bless.
Amazing! My dad had artistic talent coupled with the ability to create and it always brings me back to my childhood to see your amazing creations. I always notice there is very little wasted motion in your workflow, you don’t waste time making each step perfect you bring it to perfection all at once. Thank you for sharing with us.
I like many of your views can try their hands at making things but this…. I wouldn’t have a clue! It’s brilliant! Love it! You are a true artist Mr D. 👍👍☘️
The skill needed to bring an object like that to life from just a few foam boards and filler foam is insane. I cant even fathom where I would begin to start lol. Incredible job as always
Wow! It's so nice to see Buddha done after floating around in the background of other projects! I was amazed through the whole process. Best thing I think I've seen you make yet!
You sir, are not just a maker, you are an artiste. As I watched to this, all I could hear in my head was Mike Myers in So I Married an Ax Murderer. To paraphrase, “that’s a huge cranium. It’s as big as sputnik. It’s a planetoid. It has its own weather system.”
Beautiful job Jimmy. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. You’re the reason I started my UA-cam channel. Make on my Brother. Oh I also forgot. I love you. Maker 238.
Such a super inspiring & cheer up video, turning commodity products into art with presence, power & beauty, very reminiscent of the gods ones sees in Japanese temples. Thank you for sharing!
That was really amazing, another skill I didn't know you had. Spray foam and a machete..... from someone who can't even draw a stick figure I'm blown away by the skill that took. Gonna stop now before I start sounding like a fanboy. 😁😁😁
In my best Crocodile Dundee voice, "That's not a knife...THIS is a knife!" Always great to see your brain work and problem solve while you make something - especially 3D.
Wow, nice work! I love how you basically did the whole thing freehand. I would have tried to make a 3D model, tried to find a way to slice it and then do it in layers on the CNC. All of which means I never would have made it!
Amazing work You are such an artist. For faster sanding my buddy taught me to mix easy sand bondo with the thicker Bondo and sand when still green. On,y issue it melts foam so u need to glass it first. That total fair is super hard to sand compared to the bondo mix. Great work
Dang. I am always in awe of how someone can have a vision of something, and then see it all the way to completion. I'm not stranger to completing projects, but dang it suddenly went from 'foam and sticks' to 'oh god that is a really good replica of that!'
Real men sculpt with a machete, and every other tool in the shop. It’s still almost unbelievable the transformation from raw materials to the end product. One step at a time.
Shaping the top of his head reminded me of a Benny Hill sketch where he was slapping the bald guy's head. I know this was a relatively short video but I bet this took ages to make. It's really good - very inventive 🇬🇧
Don’t fall for the scam bot. I can’t keep up with deleting them. There is no contest no winning

There’s a lot more artistic skill to this project than is apparent…very well done Mr DiResta…..👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Mr Diresta has/is a BFA. So go figure 😉
I disagree! It's fully apparent how much skill this project took and it's incredible. Lol
@@jlabate1 I actually agree to your disagreement, BFA is obvious an understatement!! Mr DiResta is on MFA level if not higher!😎
Its pretty apparent.
Wish I had a fraction of the talent and imagination that you have. Love your videos.
Clearly what distinguishes you from most in the field of makers is your artistic talents and sensibilities.
Jimmy in his element! He's an artist!
OH DAMN!!!! WOW!!! So much skills! And so many tricks I picked up in this video!!! Bravo! Well done!!!
Jimmy, You have missed your calling… Such a wonderful piece of art. Well done and congratulations. Ability and talent rolled into one. 100% our dear friend.
Not sure how this qualifies as missing his calling, I know it’s intended as a compliment but I’m confused by this.
I watched that whole video, and i still have no idea how you turned a bunch of gap filling foam and insulation boards into art. Epic video thank you for sharing!
You truly are ahead of the competition.
Would have never thought of using spray foam like you did, guess that's why I watch you, thanks🤗😎🤗😎
I'm happy that you still make videos I remember watching these years ago
Jimmy Diresta always making it look an seem so ez. Great video as always today Jimmy. Can't wait to see what you decide to throw together and make next. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Forge On. Fab On. Weld On. Make It. Keep Making. God bless.
CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY !!!! BEAUTIFUL CREATION !!!
Astonishing! That even this fits in your repertoire of things that you can make. Well done Jimmy
@@sfinger i didn't knew that. This would be an interesting toy to find in a toy store

Oh, man, that is nuts! Wow, definitely showing off your artistic skills now, Jimmy. Bravo!!
OMG Diresta… is there anything you can't make?!!! Cheers from Ontario!
Super great work. The next video that shows what brilliant hands you have. no matter what material or trade. Perfect.
I like many of your views can try their hands at making things but this…. I wouldn’t have a clue! It’s brilliant! Love it! You are a true artist Mr D. 👍👍☘️
Your talent and knowledge honestly never cease to amaze me. This is so cool
I’m ALWAYS blown away by your talent. It seems so effortless.
You always give me the confidence to try new stuff in my shop too.
Well done Jimmy. I'm now convinced, there is nothing you can't do.
Jimmy DiResta is back! Gotta love it!
So great! This one showing some other skills we have not seen in a while. Color work especially neat to see.
Seriously, Is there something you cannot do ? I'm always amazed by your skills, but this time it was a level beyond !
Holy crap!
ITS MATT DILLAHUNTY!
The skill needed to bring an object like that to life from just a few foam boards and filler foam is insane. I cant even fathom where I would begin to start lol. Incredible job as always
Art. Pure and simple. Art. Very nice.
Really brilliant work Jimmy. Artistic and a lot of skill combined. Well done.
Bonkers seeing it come together 🤯🤯 bravo 👏👏👏👏
Clever and simple, the techniques used here can be adapted to any 3D object large or small, a good starting point for any Art Student
Wow! It's so nice to see Buddha done after floating around in the background of other projects! I was amazed through the whole process. Best thing I think I've seen you make yet!
Welding steel; working leather or carving foam .... Diresta is king of the youtube makers. Go Jimmy Go. You make SVA grads look good.
Instant classic right here. So much time and direct hand skill.
You sir, are not just a maker, you are an artiste.

DiResta is a genius!!! He turns everything into gold!
Bellissimo lavoro Jimmy 👍👍👍👍👏👏
I couldn't imagine beforehand how you were going to do it, magic hands!
Jimmy, I've met you at at a UA-cam event...you seemed like such a humble guy....now I see you got a big head..
Dang. I would never be able to do that well. Jimmy is a true talented artist. Bravo!
That was fun...thanks Jimmy! 👍😃👍
VERY, VERY, good Jimmy !
Such innate craftsmanship !
Beautiful job Jimmy. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. You’re the reason I started my UA-cam channel. Make on my Brother. Oh I also forgot. I love you. Maker 238.

Pure genius,
Pure Jimmy.
Simply amazing.
That looks so good! Wow! I see the boat is coming along nicely in the background too 👌
Love it, and loved watching the process of creating it. Fabulous and very well done Sir.
Wow, I learned so much watching this. Now, I have a project in mind....
You are an artist!!!
Ah the Buddha Head 😊 great work, as usual!
Very well done, Jimmy! 👍😀🇳🇴
Brilliant use of tools and materials.
I don't know if you enjoyed carving it or not, but it had to be fun seeing what you made when you were finished!
Yes the Buddha head!! Awesome stuff Jimmy
Your ingenuity never fails to impress. Awesome work Jimmy 😄👍
Absolutely amazing talent. Unbelievable to see that start as a photo and sheet of foam.
Freehand,eyeballed,high speed.Bish bash bosh,hello,goodbye…job done.
Excellent.
Dare I say.... Classic DiResta? 😉 Awesome model 😎
I can always count on seeing something different and/or unusual on your channel. Head is very cool.
Such a super inspiring & cheer up video, turning commodity products into art with presence, power & beauty, very reminiscent of the gods ones sees in Japanese temples. Thank you for sharing!
This is you're coolest project to watch
WOW! Now that is off the wall amazing & incredible artistic work Jimmy! 👍👍
Thanks for doing my likeness. And removing a few chins... Looks great!
You are such a great artist. Well done my friend
👊🏼❤️
Very cool video Jimmy. Now I’m going to make that head as a mask.
This is incredibly interesting and impressive! Brilliant work as always mate 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 …. The ears and the way you made the glasses class
That was really amazing, another skill I didn't know you had.
Spray foam and a machete..... from someone who can't even draw a stick figure I'm blown away by the skill that took.
Gonna stop now before I start sounding like a fanboy. 😁😁😁
He makes it look so easy... nice job Diresta!!
Genius as always. I would be happy if I was half as artistic as you.
Thank you for a little more inspiration and another project that will surely distract me from all the other distractions around my shop.

Bonjour, bravo Jimmy c'est magnifique🤩👍👏👏👏
Super cool to watch! I like the technics that you use. Thanks for sharing 😊
Beautiful work of art!
Cool stuff! I know it’s been years.. but still surprised to not see the old basement
I never expected that much work to go into something like this.
Wow! Beautiful work!
Wow, nice work! I love how you basically did the whole thing freehand. I would have tried to make a 3D model, tried to find a way to slice it and then do it in layers on the CNC. All of which means I never would have made it!

After hearing you talk about this on the podcast for a few weeks, it was really cool to see it all come together! Great job, Jimmy!
Love him or hate him, jimmy is a master craftsman, but paired with his artistic ability, he’s just light years past everyone else.
Looks like a blues brother top job jimmy

This is pure gold, i love it
Mis respetos, eres un gran ejemplo que sigo desde hace varios años, felicidades por tu trabajo
The artist man... formidable job... Véritable inspiration...👍😎
Michelangelo is looking down saying, "Jeez, this guy is good".
Well, at least Huge Head is not going to get cold! And within a few cuts, I was like "ahhhh, I see the face already" Crazy good.
I thought epoxy dissolves foam? Very cool as always (and not a CNC in sight!).
Polyester resin will dissolve styrofoam, but epoxy won't.
Legend! Just loved seeing the process, very inspiring.
