Woooaaaahhh! To be honest I never really liked this song...not sure if it's because it's done so often on TV singing contests or maybe I never paid attention to the lyrics but I'm in tears! Every word just pierced me! My husband passed away in 2012 and the anguish of the question, if you loved me, why'd you leave me is the grief that never really goes away. I know he didn't leave on purpose but that doesn't stop my heart from asking why. Thank you for sharing this cover. Best version I've ever heard!!
