People need to learn that just because you can say what you want on the internet doesn’t mean you should. And its not about having or not having opinions: its the human decency to just be nice and respectful to others which on the internet often goes out of the window
People can totally say their opinion whetever they like something or not, but its not what is it about, but how you say it. In this case they should just chat "Sorry, not fan of Name (i don't know who it was about), his voice is annoying..." and leave it at that and maybe leave the stream entirely.
Also: Even if you can theoretically say anything, it doesn't mean, others will agree with you or tolerate you. And in a private setting they aren't even obliged to, which a chatstream, discord, etc. essentially are, because they are under the control and moderation of a private person.
But even if that weren't the case: Twitch, UA-cam, etc. all have their own guidelines which prohibit racism and hatespeech.
Some people are just dumb and seem to be dumbfounded, when they frick around and find out. 🤷

How is everyone missing what should be so obvious? 99% chance the reason he referenced the guy's race is because he couldn't remember his name and he was the only indian on screen so that's all he had to try to identify who he was talking about. Not sure why he kept calling him "asian indian", maybe he was confused and couldn't figure out what race he was and was trying to come up with the best description he could. That's like if there's a room full of white dudes and one black guy, saying "the black guy" is just a way of quickly identifying who you're talking about because it's the most obvious feature. Same as if there's a super tall guy, you'd say "The super tall guy." Do people just not do this anymore? How is that possibly racist?
"Asian Indian" is sometimes used for Indians from India because it's still common, and was historically *very* common, in the USA at least, to use "Indian" or "American Indian" for Native Americans (the indigenous people, here before Europeans arrived, people that in Canada would be called 'First Nations'). It comes from an ancient misconception about what land you reach when you sail west from Europe. "Indian" is even used by the tribes themselves, and it's not considered a slur or mistake even though everyone involved knows India is a different place. There's even an official US government department called the "Bureau of Indian Affairs".

I don't think the little shit is racist (I don't know them), but it was never about that. It's not about him as a person. It's about his comments which can easily be identified as racist. Maybe not to everyone, but to the vast majority. It's as simple as that.

From that few message all i can see that he really disliked one person. He didnt knew who he was so he used his race to easily identify him. Nowhere it implies that he doesnt like him because of the race (just because of his sense of humer maybe), which i feel like is like main thing when you call someone racist. Feel free to provide more content, that shows i am wrong, but from all info i get from this clip i just dont see it.
He could have referred to him by his name instead of his race. If he can't be bothered to even figure out the name of who he's complaining about he shouldn't speak at all. Also Connor has a strict no smack talking his guests rule so regardless of how he referred to him he's still in violation.

You use his most differential trait compared to others. It is logical thing to do and could be a reason he used it. We don't know the context. Don't get me wrong, i am not defending his behavior at all, he deserved the ban fully, but i don't see any race based insults from him.
