I am so happy that you had a wonderful 2 day outing. There’s so much to do and see. Being from the east, I did not realize just how much Iowa & Nebraska has to offer. So many quaint towns and shops, variety of different types of restaurants and foods. Breaded pork loins and loose meat sandwiches are never on the menu here. Ignorance of thinking flat lands and corn fields. Craig really had a great trip and carried a big smile throughout the 2 days. I am endeared to see his love of flopping stuff animals. So cute. My nephew used to put his favorite stuff bunny ears inside his ear to get that little tickle feeling, if you know what I mean. The hotel was deluxe and convenient to go walking within the area. Those shops were magnificent. Nancy, I had to laugh because you already wanted to buy something before you even went into the store. I guessed that it was the cat tote! lol… I am the same way! Craig knows what he wants or doesn’t want. My daughter wants everything! 😂. The throughly enjoyed the comic book and the interaction between Joe & Craig. I never saw Craig laughing and enjoying himself so much that I was laughing with the guys. The 2 videos were absolutely amazing and thank you for sharing your experience with us. I wish I lived closer and would like to see so many of the places you visited. Amana Colonies would be right on top. Have a wonderful day and get some rest! 🌹🥰

Nancy I love that you pointed out a barn quilt. My mom and I do the same thing while driving on the back roads of Wisconsin... We have a lot of barn quilts...
I have them On my barns. They aren’t big barns , Like 14x 28 or so. But, Anyway , I love quoting and had them made to put on my two barns when they first started becoming popular. I always look for them when traveling.

I'm really relating to Craig's frustration. When I was a kid my mother used to drag me along with her to antique and thrift stores. She would have to look at every item. I have grown to love them as an adult.
Sometimes Craig likes them. On this day he decided that he was homesick. He used to look forward to coming to Des Moines to the thrift stores. But lately he just isn’t as interested. 😊

@rhondaalan8436 Craig is very well looked after. I think we all, if we are honest, go go, go, go… while on vacation. It’s fun! It’s normal. Everyone I know, is always glad to go, and glad to come home. That's why it’s called “ vacation”.
It would help for sure. The biggest thing is the diet. If you eat foods that are higher in antioxidants it will reduce the effects of allergies and keep you feeling better.

He gets sick because he never dresses properly.He needs to wear coats and long pants when it’s cold.
He has allergies lol He doesn't get sick from wearing shorts... My husband wears shorts to work in 50-60 degree weather.. 🤷♀️
