Xhorse Condor XP007 is the latest portable manual key cutting machine with a built-in battery inside.

If you have to use 2 tracing probes, One in both sides while calibrating, then why is this machine shipped to me with only one tracing probe in the box. That means I can not calibrate it correctly unless I order another probe from you.. Will you send me one?

I just received mine from your company today, and I am watching the video to calibrate. It only come with one 2 sided probe. Can not be calibrated unless you have 2 probes, correct? You CANNOT calibrate this out of the box? #uhshardware

You need 1 probe to calibrate from what I saw. The video has pros & cons. Having to set mine up today because my XC-005 went down so now I can only duplicate, not originate. If I was doing the volume I'd get a 2nd origination machine.
Guess I'll stop buying extra keys when I do each job as I've been reinvesting into keys for future key cutting.
Now time to explore the other way.

Calibrated mine and cut the key fine, but caught the top of the clamp with cutter blade... It slipped some how. There isn't anything to stop the cutter overlapping to the right when cutting..

If all is calibrated the cutter shouldn't be able to touch the clamp. also tightening your z axis and setting the brakes for x and y can help to lessen the possibility of over cutting or slipping. it's a very powerful machine with tons of capability as well as some learning curve. It requires a bit of trial and error in my experiences. At the least some test cuts prior to actual cutting or after calibrating for sure. Let me know if you have any other experiences or issues.

I agree the instructions can be a little difficult, could you please explain what your process was when you calibrated the z-axis (up and down). Maybe that is the issue. did you use a tracing probe in both sides while calibrating?

Tarek, this is an excellent suggestion, maybe as a calibration kit add on? Though the machine can be calibrated as it comes in the box using the probe and cutter. This is just our suggestion of how to calibrate best.
