hi LINDA SAN DIEGO! i think the ones who have issues with movement on boats, especially large liners, that it's mostly psychological. just my opinion though! i always wonder if those sensitive folk go on roller coaster and carnival rides?

MAXWELL there were quite a few folk wearing patches behind their ear. but the non pharmaceutical way to avoid sea sickness is to GO WITH the rocking movement of the boat, not against it. and fyi - i have been on some tumultuous waters, and the only time i thought i was going to throw up was on the ferry from sorrento to capri. it was a treacherous crossing! and the way to handle such a situation is to lie flat on the floor or bed, if you have access to one. otherwise - i have never had an issue on a cruise ship. and think about it - when you were a baby - your ma rocked you to sleep - so rocking is a very normal action that we have been exposed to since we were in the womb - where we're floating around in fluid! and you've got to remember, you're on a boat - it ain't land. so don't expect it not to rock! i've actually heard idiots remark that the boat is moving back and forth - well duh!
@@maxwellthepig4419MAXWELL i suggest trying a 3 night cruise as a test before denying yourself the wonders of cruising. it's sooooo healthy for you - all the minerals from the sea are very restorative. that's one of the things i notice - after a few days at sea - everyone that limped on board, bent over w/their canes, and walkies and in wheelchairs - suddenly have a spring in their step - and are standing up straight and not using aids. it's quite miraculous!
