Take this record, for instance. Boris Gardiner & the Love People is one of many names to feature these musicians, which includes a bass hero of mine, Aston 'Family Man' Barrett. If the sound is familiar to you. it's probably because you've heard the same sounds and playing styles in the legendary reggae instrumental "Liquidator" by Harry J All Stars. There's no doubt in my mind some, if not all, of the Love People played on both songs, both of which were recorded in the same studio.
