Probably the easiest trick I have ever see Penn and Teller perform. I don't think there can be anyone who doesn't know how it was done. Teller didn't make a good job of slipping the ring onto the end of the stem when he covered it with his hand. Keeping his hand on it all the time until he covered it with the handkerchief containing a dummy ring. All very kids magic box stuff.
I quite like how they perform very simple tricks but in unique and entertaining ways. Almost like they don't want to upstage the other magicians who come on the show to try and fool them.
