Mike, thanks for the chuckle. The scale said Doof weighed in at 1990# but you said 1190# and later you said 1950#. I love how you are with every animal.

Oh my goodness I'm such a baby. I started crying when you said Doof has to leave. I started watching your videos a couple years ago and he's always been the bull. I'll sure miss seeing him in your videos. But you have to do what's best. He had a great life with yall. ❤❤😊😊

All Bulls have a limited useful time with a herd of cows. We have to pay attention so we dont inbreed. Doof's life isnt over, his DNA just cant be spread anymore here. Thanks for watching mscricket.

Very good yard set up for such a small cattle operation. Those little Angus bulls got a dream life with so few cattle to breed. For 40 yrs we ran a 250 head herreford simental commercial herd and a 200 head simental stud herd. We experimented with a lot of breeds but settled on simental/Hereford after lots of trials, all to the premium grass fed market, with many carcas wins at the show circuit. Took a lot of years to get the lines right and settled, not too big and early maturing but even our smallest would make a commercial angus bull look like a runt.
