Infrared cooktop design is meant to heat cookware instantly and cooks faster with equal heat distribution within the cooking range. This cooktop design does not rely on flames, gas, or uneven electrical heating to produce its heat. It works more like a microwave as it passes heat to the cookware by direct infrared radiation.People often ask the question of “infrared hot plate vs induction” when it comes to power usage. Infrared cookers use about 1/3 less power than any other types of cookers or grills. Infrared burners heat so rapidly, producing higher temperatures than your regular grill or cooker can. Some infrared cookers are capable of reaching 980 degrees Celsius in 30 seconds and can finish cooking your meat in two minutes. That is extremely fast.

Dear @Dineshbabu Shankar, I am using this from more than 15 days now. It is working absolutely fine. I am using it as my Main Stove. It hasn't given me a single problem. More than expected and it's also using less electricity compared to my Induction Stove.

Sir, If we use a small utensil, is there any way of decreasing the heating area. Because If the heating area is greater than the size of a small utensil then unnecessarily power will be wasted and heat generated.
I have seen that some other brands have the option to select the ring size (for heating). Small, small + Big, or only big.
