I really liked this video and liked Mr. Fernandez. The boy's chart with his former self's chart was compelling. The one question I have to ask about the grandchild and grandmother is how does one know if if was a past life or just connections between family members. Family members often have strong connections between the charts. For example, in my family, my sister, my daughter and my grandson all have exactly the same degree on the ascendant. That daughter and my grandson (her nephew have the exact same degree of the moon and many other close connections. Interesting video and I will definitely watch more of his videos.

It is hard to cover such a vast topic in 30 min, not to mention that it is indeed very rare to be able to have confirmations of past life incarnations with chart data available for such research. But to your point, consider that having same degree planets within the same family is not enough to confirm it is a reincarnation - because like you said, it is also part of the hereditary of astrology pattern. What must be added is that the chart disposition of the current incarnation does capture the STORY of the past incarnation. What was compelling in the grandchild case was that his chart did not only repeat multiple chart patterns, but also showed the suicide and substance of abuse + journalism career, etc... of the grandmother's story. So we could retrace her life in his chart. I hope this makes sense.
This is not enough information to address any past life issues, but Pluto on the NN hints at the need to confront limitations and insecurities in this life. There is no real way to by pass shadow work, and since it is in Virgo, 12H, such deep introspection could bring healing or make you a therapist.
