    I love this man. Your adding everything to the truck. The seats look great and the dash is awesome. I honestly would have never thought of the push to start, power inverter, usb and the crazy screen setup! You ain’t expensive if the job is done right and just the way it was supposed to be done 👍

    The interior work is legit. That being said, it would probably be A whole lot cheaper to buy a blown up 2014-2015 6.7 and put a 7.3 liter in it.

      Matt Byram maybe. But at the time I started this swap was 2016-17. And then what was I gunna go with my 01 truck I already have that runs and drives great ?
      Then have a 2015 Truck and vin just to drop a 7.3 in it for what? Not to pass emissions in most states. Honestly if I bought a blow up 2015 I’d just fix the 6.7 and have a new 6.7. I think the idea was bring back a old truck back to life

    I admire your ingenuity and skills to accomplish what I’m sure wasn’t the easiest conversion, but it’s only worth it to me depending on what truck you have. I believe that’s the 7.3 you have there so there’s a really good chance that engine will outlast the interior and even the body and frame lol. But that conversion looks very clean and professional!!

  • @mistermyself1128

    I tell people to source ALL the parts themselves. No way I'm paying 5-6k for interior parts. Ive been able to get 3 different king Ranch seat sets, including center consols and Im not 5-6k into them combined.
    Lots depends on where you are too I guess. A lot of his prices are inflated. If he has the business, then I guess its not too much. Hes almost twice what I would pay here but im not famous and arent going to guys that are trying to be famous themselves either.
    My next build im just going to buy a newer truck wholesale and do a body swap. That will be about 50-60kk but 35 will be the vehicle at auction.

But this man is charging $1000 in labor for something that’s just plug and play common sense shit. Replacing a dash is as easy as unlatching and unbolting the old one, unplugging electronics if any, and doing the same process in reverse for the new one

    I do ton of these seat covers mostly I rebuild driver side. We do leather kits you just order different colors material what ever. I put full leather kit on 1 day. You just need leather on top parts sides non leather. Secret cracking the seats apart bezel, bolts. I throw them on bench peel cover and re install. You go slow use pan cooking spray. Remove headrests plugs. These have zipper on backs. For me it's joke use heat gun we use steamer to get wrinkles out. When I'm done you swear factory put them on. I do these trucks daily. I don't like doing door panels, steering wheel wraps, or dash I paint plastics to factory colors you just have paint place make you can take piece so they color match cans like 40 bucks. Headliner I did mine for like 50 bucks

    $3500-$5000? Unless you’re doing a custom interior from scratch,it shouldn’t cost that much to do a SWAP. Which simply consist of removing the interior from the donor vehicle and fitting it into yours. If you’re pulling your own parts from a vehicle at a salvage yard, you might spend up to $200-$300. If you’re mechanically inclined,and the vehicles are of the same model,you can figure it out. Now if you’re installing interior from a whole different vehicle,like newer going into an older vehicle,modifications may be necessary. Simply take measurements beforehand as installing seats from and wide old car into a newer narrow car requires mods. Seat height and other factors.

I’d like to do an full interior swap from a newer model ford. Seen the front seat swapped but never the rear bench. Also the dash and center console is the main thing I’m interested in and worried about. Between fitting it and then to wire it all is going to be a friggin nightmare. 7.3 is cool but i’d rather just buy a 6.7 with all of this already in there lol good work tho man. much respect

      DB cooler back story though, and bragging rights. Because any one can go buy a 6.7 but not everyone can or will do this.

      @anthonyj810 5 років тому +5

      @@abramspearman9046 It's still not worth it. You're gonna spend the same amount of money as you would for a 6.7 to buy a 7.3 in good condition under 200k miles and do the interior swap.

    • @abramspearman9046

      Anthony J yeah but you don’t have to do smog. And this is not for everyone, that’s why it’s so cool to see it because not many do this. It isn’t practical but neither is 75% of the stuff we do. It’s just all up to you.

    • @anthonyj810
      @anthonyj810 5 років тому

      @@abramspearman9046 I know I would rather just buy a 6.7 and not deal with the headache and over priced labor since no cheap mechanic is going to do this.

      Anthony J yeah, I probably won’t ever do this, but that’s just what makes it unique for whoever does this to their truck.

    all i know once i get my new truck since sadly mine was just totaled by an ahole who ran a stop sign, im coming to you and dropping what i need to get a nice interior done. itll end up being an 05 250, with getting an 08-11 lariat interior with some of your pro touches in the dash work. nothing insane just your skills. ill hit your email once i get new truck and try to get on your calendar at that point and go from there just letting you know you are the man and are best in the biz for these.

      Some people want to keep the legendary 7.3 powerstroke. If u buy the newer truck u will have alot of smog on the truck that kills all engine but mainly diesel engines. Also u have to deal with the Def shit. If there wasn't any laws on smog it would be cheaper to buy a new truck then put the old 7.3 in it. But u can't legally put a old engine in a newer truck. It won't pass smog.
