I love this series so much. I’m so happy that the MH community is as big as it is right now. I still remember playing the first monster hunter on the PSP, my mother bought it for me as an Easter gift all them years ago when it came out.

I just like how these players randomly do other things while the monster is on a rampage. Here's a fun tip if you ride your dog you can eat and sharpen your weapons faster while still moving. Also never quickly take potion near your boss fight gets some space and then use potions and stuff or go to the next map for more safety net.
If nothing else this episode has told me that using wirebug waterfall is a bad idea until you've hit the ground and know what the monster is gonna do next lol.

3:45 this is very common if you main wyvern riding. I have a wyvern riding specialist set that allow me to do at least 5~7 heavy attacks before the finisher.
I had a clip of that same thing happening with the Rajang. If at any point during his grab your character model slides off a ledge, you pop out of his hands. Little Rajang Ledge Cancel :)
I’m not sure if people knew this already, but if you throw a kunai after jumping off a ledge, you do an aerial jump, you can use it after you launch yourself in the air with the wirebug, you can do it up to two times in the air, but if you do it the second time, you can’t use the wire bug, it also doesn’t work if you press a and launch yourself I feel like this could be used in some way shape or form but I need to figure out the rest

It's because he shoots the beam straight up before aiming it in front of him. It was like that in Iceborne too.
Im also a glaive main that feels your pain seems like most monsters has some bs vertical hitbox that knocks you out the air
Just don't attack if you see the monster is about to move. IG has a lot of ways to maneuver midair to evade and still follow up an attack.
