You need to speak more about this on all social platforms because the skincare industry is getting crazy now more then ever! They are advocating using SPF while indoors what the heck?!
I'm living proof of all you've said right here. My vitD levels are way above average. It is very true that your body adapts to regular sunexposure. I haven't had a sunburn in over a decade, and I work outside in the heat. To keep my levels of vitD and suntollerance up in the darker months (although the sun is lower and produces less uvb) I haven't worn long trousers in 11 years. Your body adapts to the cold as well. Doing IF for 3 years now (thanks to you), been vegan for 1.5 years and live/work barefoot since 2011. My biggest advantage is that I'm self-employed, so nobody (social or workrelated) demands me to be inside or wear something 'decent'. It is a luxury. All those thngs aside, I'm afraid that, as with veganism, most people trust what the gouvernment/medical communitie (read 'industrie') dictates, despite what the scientific evidence says. Keep spreading the word, Mike. We need more awareness!
As a licensed Esthetician, I really appreciate this research. I’ve always questioned whether or not sunscreen was actually beneficial or not and a lot of the stuff I was taught in school didn’t make sense when it came to skin cancer. I’m a huge fan of things like topical vitamin c (as well as other antioxidant rich ingredients) and of course eating the proper diet! I, myself, have been on keto for just over 2 years and I incorporate intermittent fasting and interval training into my routine. It makes a huge difference! I loved what you said about photo-aging... the truth is we all need sun and there are ways to prevent skin on the face from being exposed. I will most likely still use broad spectrum sunscreen on my clients who have just received microdermabrasion, dermaplaning or chemical peel treatments because there skin will be more sensitive to the sun post treatment. But I will be more cautious of what ingredients are in the sunscreen, as well as, educating them on how they can get the most out of the sun while still protecting their face from photo-aging and wrinkles.
It is refreshing that there are people like you who take the information and apply it to make a difference in your client's results and health. Keep it up
Sorry to hear that, but to continue the discussion: we can agree there are other forms of cancer, brain, pancreatic, blood, etcetera, all irrelevant to the sun. So it's not unbelievable to think that skin cancer can be caused by the same mechanisms causing those other cancers, e.g., chemical exposure through foods, cosmetics, drugs, etc.; genetic abnormalities; overconsumption/metabolic issues, etcetera.
@@rondoespsych5901there’s literally a video of a man driving a truck with his left side facing the window and the sun made his left side significantly worst than his right side.
i read in various research articles that you're body only needs 15-30 mins of sunlight (depending on your skin color) to produce the maximum daily vitamin D and anything over that doesn't do much except harm your skin. Also i think it was in one of your previous videos you said vitamin C and avoidance of sugar was most important for preventing cancer.
There are tons of lifestyle factors that help prevent disease and cancer (sun, diet, sleep, exercise, etc). They are all important. 20-30 min of sun a day is a good amount
Great video and presentation! What are your thoughts on chemical free mineral based physical sunscreens? Zinc oxide and Titanium dioxide? Thought maybe using that on my face while leaving my upper body sunscreen free and exposed(shirtless) would both get me good Vitamin d while protecting my face.
Airplane pollution is causing cloud cover which often makes it difficult to get enough sunlight, so I get it where I can. I'm glad they haven't kicked you off youtube for this.
You got a follow sir! So many arguments with my mum about suncream. Me and the kids has been without suncream for 2 years. They don’t burn and we use the shade and sunhats. I live in Spain so my mum thinks I’m putting the kids in danger. My kids are never sick. 🤷♀️
Adopt a carnivore diet, and none of you will need hats or shade, just like other carnivores (me - 88, one hour daily to help halt a breast cancer). I sunburned my whole life like others eating the standard American diet. Became carnivore and like thousands of other carnivores around the world, now have zero fear of direct sunlight on my skin. Do you think historically that humans needed hats or sunscreen? Meanwhile take a look at 44 year-old neurosurgeon Dr. Anthony Chaffee, ten year carnivore and All-American Rugby star who still plays rugby with 20 year olds after a workday of brain surgery. Always beautifully tanned, never burned, outdoors every chance he gets, unshielded.👌👍🤔💖
I just want to touch on one point, the idea of using tanning beds as being better than avoiding sun, and this may be true, but based on what I know tanning beds are an absolute Nono. Because they give off concentrated uv light, whereas in the sun spectrum it gives off uv light as well as infrared, uv light is what causes skin cancer and infrared light can kind of balance out the uv rays, removing the possible harm of uv rays. But when u take in uv rays alone such as in tanning beds, since they don’t give off full spectrum (aka no infrared included only uv rays) it’s more likely to cause skin cancer
Some big industries should become illegal. There's just too much finacial interests going totally against human interests. I don't like saying it like this but i think this is the situation.
Dr Van. I work in orthomolecular esthetics. So I help people reverse aging in their body by optimizing the nutrients within their cells. Photo aging is a result of a lack of antioxidants in the body. If the diet and supplements are on point they not only protect you from burning but also keep you looking young and healthy

Was looking for yes no type of answer, but after watching I am so surprised. thanks for the great info.

sunbathing cured my anxiety disorder, and for some reason my skin looks healthier too.
It's almost like we were meant to be in the sun!
As someone who sister is battle stage 4 melanoma i hope people watch this with caution.

Let them have skin cancer from the sun lol. These people never learn.

Love me a ton of sunshine, no better feeling in the world.
100%

I set almost naked under the sun for at least one hour each day for years and still suffer from low vitamin D. Please explains.
I guess I was accidentally right when I was a stubborn uneducated high schooler who was too lazy to wear sunscreen for 4 years of swim haha
What brand do you use for Magnesium Glycinate?
Usually Doctor's Best, but I tend to circulate
I wonder if Bryan Johnson aka Delta, The man who's reversing his aging....knows this info?
He takes Vit D supplements but I don’t know if that’s works as well.
Thank you Mr Neschis
I love it
what about natural sunscreen for those in the sun for hours like sheabutter?

Not only that the sun is the energy source of everything..if you do meditations while touching the sun you will activate your 3rd eye..
Love it!
