Fantastically knowledgeable angler. My local tackle shop owner (Congleton) suggests you are the top match angler in the country, so I look forward to watching many more videos. Roger
Great video. Love the way he points out the importance of the underwater features, not just the ones you can see above the surface. Defo try this approach to dobbing at our next match at Ivy House Lakes.
Brilliant video Andy just goes to show if they're not there you won't catch them but really made me think about dobbing in the deeper water do quite a bit of dobbing at little john lakes
Brilliant video Andy! I mainly dob bread fishing for tench on my local canal, will be using these tactics on some of the difficult venues I fish in the winter! 🎣
I would dob bread at Docklow Pools on the Match Lake. It’s my favourite venue. Another awesome video and tips. The knowledge and tips you pass on sure helps my fishing. Thank you Andy & Guru for these videos. Tight Lines All
Great video nice to see you not catch owt for a change , still learnt loads ...Aston park on snake lakes I fish dobbing, this video demonstrates exactly how to utilize how to approach these snake lakes with tricky depth and shelfs , thank you and tight lines
Wow!! When the king struggles to catch, there's no hope for me!!! Another brilliant video from Andy and the Guru team. I would like to try dobbing at Thatto Heath dam in St Helens.
Great content I mainly fish a snake lake near me approx 14.50mtr to the far bank no one seems to do any dobbing I’m definitely going to try it now. Thanks for the info.
Great vid and great information as usual thanks Andy. It's actually heartening to see even the best struggling to catch. My favourite place to dob bread is on Willow lake at Partridge lakes. Heading there tomorrow to put some of these tips into play. Hopefully I'll be more successful than bagger!
Great short video to show how it's done shame you didn't catch I had 2 carp and loads of roach last time I was out dobbing at renny lake east harsle was a struggle all day until the last hour they came on the feed lost 2 to hook pulls I'd not taken my really light kit so serves me right lol
Some useful info Andy 👍 Don’t really do dobbing down here in deepest Dorset as the venues I fish are too coloured plus we don’t have any f1’s. Do fish punched meat though and also punched bread on the Dorset Stour for roach and chub so the punch kit would come in Handy 😁
Peg 133 for the campaign , next time lad I’d say, might have a better chance of some bread fish to finish off, but we all know what winter is like. brilliant series
Wish I'd watched this before I went out on Saturday as I was dobbing bread and maggots at my local goto Tom's pond in Otley. Had a couple of F1's and a few ide and trout to bring my tally up to 35 fish for the day. Not bad considering it was rock hard when I turned, like a mirror, and only had 3 nites in the first 2 hours. got better through the day and was feeding maggots in the last 2 hours and the bites kept coming
Partridge was my 1st match back in 12 yrs fished alot like you said, tried everything to find fish, if there not there, its tough, loved being bck ! You think like a fish mr bennett! Great content
Fished a National on the Basingstoke canal, netted a skimmer and had five small perch in the net with it, I put them back in fear of disqualification but did they count.
Not tried dobbing yet so I’m not sure why suspending bread above the bottom works? I used bomb and bread and that works with bread ledgered on the bottom, why wouldn’t you fish the bread on deck on the pole? Great videos though and I’ll give it a go at Partridge lakes
Andy Bennett one of the best out there!!!
