I remember playing this freshman year, I dropped my phone through a hole in the top row of the bleachers. It survived. In fact it’s what I’m listening to this on right now
Dovahkiin217 in my sophomore year of high School and this is our opening song for our field show, followed by 25 or 6 to 4, Every little thing she does is magic, and then we close with Dream on!! I really like our field show this year.
As someone who has played this now for four years (oh good lord I’m a senior eeek) it’s so much fun to just go for it on piccolo and just groove during pep band!
I played this on piccolo on our field show! It was so fun because when we weren’t out on the field and didn’t have to take it as serious, the flutes would just bounce our heads back and forth to the beats, just going at it, when we had rests. I’m so sad that I’m a senior this year :c last day of junior year ended today
I played alto sax in my pep band and Its only been a year since i played it last and crazy how nostalgic this and the versions of 7 nation army and radioactive that we played already are to me. i come from a tiny school that was all about basketball and nothing else, but our band sucked, but we were good at those 3 songs and ill never forget the sound when the entire gym would stomp with the drums on 7 or sing withe wayward son or radioactive
i’m a clarinet player and although my part in this song is very simple and mostly background parts (can’t say I expected anything different) this is still probably my favorite song in out halftime show this year, it’s just too good 🎵🎶
This song is so fun to play in marching band. The energy of the group is calmed but also hyped it’s great. I do think the tempo here needs to be slowed a bit though.
I was in Air Cadets in my youth and in 2017 the Squadron Band played several songs at a Band Competition which I knew but this was the only one that I didn’t recognize. Two years later when I turned 19 I kept watching the video taken of the 2017 Band Competition trying to figure out what song it was but couldn’t even though I had heard it before. I asked my dad, then coworkers who grew up with 1970s and 80s music but they didn’t know. I showed the video to my mom and she didn’t know but then at the chorus recognized it as Carry on My Wayward Son. Phew!
A perfect combination of me being a heavy rock/metal drummer, and my band director being into the same music, allows me to play this with my style, on a DRUM KIT NO LESS. AND we got a game tonight? I'm content.
im a freshman and we're learning this song rn in marching band AND AUGH ITS SUCH A BANGER!!! IM SO GLAD THE BASSLINE IS SO FUN (I PLAY TENOR SAX SO I GET MOSTLY QUARTER/HALF NOTES IN SONGS BUT THIS ONE IS JUST SO AAAA!!!!!!)
my band director in the eighth grade did let us for the eighth grade promotion ceremony, but then the teachers said they wanted the chorus and the band to do something together, so we had to play let it be instead.
I played trumpet last year and this is my first year on horn As much as repetitive this song is one thing i liked about it was definitely that lil trumpet solo moment many complements received fs😭☠️
As a trombone freshman and it's my second year of marching I can't build up the courage to suggest this to my band director, out of the fear he would say no or something.
Vivienne Loiseau I know this is way late probably, but go to JW Peppers website and look up that song, then look for the name of the person who arranged it.
I'm in 8th grade we are playing this in band, he makes the trumpets play first (the high part) and we almost 'die' everytime cause none of us can play that high
Loved it! Definitely better than the short version from Stadium Jams Vol. 4 (it might not be 4 but i think it is) that my band plays. Felt like the ending was really quick and underwhelming though :\
I remember playing this freshman year, I dropped my phone through a hole in the top row of the bleachers. It survived. In fact it’s what I’m listening to this on right now
Dear sir/ma'am/Mx. your phone is a soldier.
I've lost count of how many sticks we've dropped through bleachers
@@adastrapgh I'm sure there's a mountain of 'em down there lmao
Someone did this in my band too, only it was the back of their flute
It happens bro, same thing happened to me but with my stand tunes.
Did this song my freshman year in a field show... Memories... Now one of my favorite stand tunes.
This wasn't the main event of our field show, Stairway to heaven was, but i feel as this one of the highlights.
Dovahkiin217 in my sophomore year of high School and this is our opening song for our field show, followed by 25 or 6 to 4, Every little thing she does is magic, and then we close with Dream on!! I really like our field show this year.
I'm have to play this song in every school football game #MarchingBand
I’m a freshman right now, just had my last game of marching band season and I’m going into concert season.
@@thrxwolf7039 I started In band camp and my feet just commit die

We’re playing this as one of our marching pieces and absolutely love it
If we'd played this at my highschool, I would have been singing along while playing the mallets. Sideline Percussion REPRESENT!
Saxophone :)
For some reason the mallet part just wasn't printed off or something so I have cowbell for this
Oof- I had to transpose the piano part for this piece lol

Let’s go. Front ensemble gang ✊
We were gonna play this for our spring concert but..
Rip, I'm sorry
We’re playing this in our first show after a year of not playing together. We apparently don’t know how to watch our director :D we keep dragging 😂
I know how you feel, one of my schools ensembles was supposed to go to state Solo and Ensembles. Here's to a better year!
But what?
Covid assumably?

This was the last song of the last show of my freshmen year of marching band, so much nostalgia.
A perfect combination of me being a heavy rock/metal drummer, and my band director being into the same music, allows me to play this with my style, on a DRUM KIT NO LESS. AND we got a game tonight? I'm content.

Gonna suggest this to my Pep band director
Also supernatural is amazing
This song is so fun. I play flute, but im sat by the low brass and altos and it sounds so good by them. I love the Alto part at measure 26
Starting at :44
My school plays this! I will play it soon!
I played trumpet last year and this is my first year on horn
As much as repetitive this song is one thing i liked about it was definitely that lil trumpet solo moment many complements received fs😭☠️
My band director picked this one. I can't wait to play it this year
1:39 feels like there could be a improv solo here, maybe trumpet/screamer?
Love your channel and I can trust this music to all of it is lit fam :)
We play the shortened version of this in my band at school. I like it.
As a trombone freshman and it's my second year of marching I can't build up the courage to suggest this to my band director, out of the fear he would say no or something.
Great band and state KANSAS
We play this song in pep band, I love it! (I'm a 1st trumpet)
lol we play this song just played it rn lol
Playing this for parades this month!
Played this my senior year on quads. Gotta say, drum score was pretty bland, but with a little improv and changes, this piece is really fun.
KrakenCommentary bruh there’s literally suspended cymbal, just that makes the part the best I’ve played even though the score is stupid easy
good arrangement. need more classic rock at half time
THE TUBA PART OML YES
ayyyyyye
the thing is I am in my 9th year in school and ready to play this with my band with the trombone.
We just played this song a couple days ago and I almost dropped my cymbals.
playing this song at our homecoming game next week!! (i’m a trombone 1 btw, this is definitely a fav!)
i started getting the feels when we had to play this for a basketball ball game 😂😂
Playing this song this year!! I'm a trombone (2nd) and this song is really hard in some parts but overall really cool
😍😍😍💜💜
We always play this in the stands
UA-cam put this song in a list for classical music
Can you please post the Arrangement "Can't Stop The Feeling" for Marching Band? Our band would like to hear it :)

It's in Stadium Jams Vol. 3.

Add that to the list of songs that I’m gonna beg my band director to buy at band camp
What music notation software is this? I would love to have this!
It's a live band.
Is the Tuba part for this in standard Eb or BBb?
0:15 I'm pretty sure I heard an electric guitar in there
@Ava Rushing But I did hear an electric guitar riff.
That's the alto sax part.
@@adastrapgh Oh shoot
We play this in our highschool pep band and I'm the only tubs player in the band
Me on my Baritone Saxophone playing overtones like: CaRy oN My wAyWaRd sOn (nah it actually sounds and feels amazing)
Supernatural opening credits theme if it was a 70s buddy cop show
My band never did any of these fun songs cause, show band life, but sometimes they end as stand tunes or the other band's music
Sounds amazing on 1.25 speed
