I would be careful with HR as well. I have been asked by HR if I had sex with the man before, then was told that I wasn't being a friendly team player. It reflected on my review. The guy was very aggressive and creepy towards me. Saying something to him and my supervisors did nothing. HR is not always there to help the employees - they are there to help the company not be sued.
That is not ok! Report him to HR! If she is not comfortable going to HR then text him like Bert said and tell him if he doesn't stop you will go to HR and you have the inappropriate texts for evidence. Then he should be afraid and live you alone!

bring a co-worker to every meeting with him, male or female it doesn't matter. See if he shuts the door then.
