To all who don’t get why Carti has diehard fans, allow me to explain. I will admit that Cartis music can seem awkward and simple at first. But art is meant to evoke emotion. Carti doesn’t need to tell a grand story or impart some deep meaning in all his songs for something to resonate with his fans. You either love it or hate it. As a mega fan, I’ll be the first to say that some Carti tracks are just not it. His music is hit or miss, but I think fight or flight is a better description. You instinctively either fight against it, or take flight with it. His stuff hits on the rawest emotion that humans can feel. It’s not about analyzing every word to see how it all forms a cohesive conspiracy theory. Sometimes, Music just hits the body before the brain.
