    Hi 👋🏻 submerging the wig in hot water with apple cyder vinegar will take the stains off the lace and fabric (this doesn't apply to silk top wigs)

    To protect the lace avoid dying it you can flip the wig inside out on a canvas head and spray the lace with a lot of got2b yellow spray and let it dry before dying

  • @oohsheshy9485
    @oohsheshy9485 3 роки тому +2

    Great video!! I’ve heard youtubers say putting Got2b freeze spray on or vaseline on the lace before you dye will prevent it from staining the lace! Hope this helps

      Thank you so much! And girl I tried got2B freeze spray and the gel and the dye still bled through. I think next time I'll try more layers and see if it works.

    You used just the revlon dark ash blond on the original 613 blond and got that shade ???? I’ve been bleaching my 613 to lighten it up then. That color. But if you used just the dark ash blond and got that nice shade you saved me $$$ time and damage to piece. God bless I needed this video. THANK YOU

      Yes, I'll have to dig up the footage of me dying it but sure! Did you use the same brand for both the roots and the rest of the hair? Sometimes the dye formulas between different brands don't mix well.

    If you use got 2 be spray on the lace it should help the dye not stick to the lace so when you wash it they will not be colored

      I usually do, and I do a couple layers of it too. Maybe I’m doing it wrong? I’m doing another blonde one soon so we’ll see if it works this time🤷🏾‍♀️.

    • @tiaraj7365

    I’m attempting to do my own wig soon. But when you washed the dye out did you use regular shampoo or toning shampoo? If I need to tone the hair should I do it before I dye or after?

    • @crownedbynique
      @crownedbynique  3 роки тому +2

      I used purple shampoo when I washed it out to further tone the hair. If you’re putting ash blonde dye on the hair like I did with this one you can tone the hair after you dye it. If you’re just doing the roots you can let it sit in purple shampoo and water to tone it after you wash the roots out as well.

    What was the yellow looking stuff in the bowl?

    • @crownedbynique
      @crownedbynique  2 роки тому

      That’s the dye for the roots. It just looked yellow when I first mixed it because the color hadn’t processed yet. But you’ll see it was dark by the end of the video.

    How to wash it without staining the whole wig is the main issue for me ? Can someone help

    • @crownedbynique
      @crownedbynique  2 роки тому +4

      I usually let the wig lay flat on the cap side in the sink and run the water only over the roots and massage it until most of the dye is out. Then I wash the entire wig like normal and the dye doesn’t run. I can make a video on how I do it if you want me to.
