Oh my goodness, I love your arrangement and your detailed, methodical descriptions! Your summer capsule wardrobe is the most similar to mine, and what I love, out of all the UA-cam videos I watch. It’s full of femininity, natural fibers, bohemian and classic, versatile, and I just love it! 😍 Your use of florals and maxi dresses makes me so happy. So many people don’t use these but I love them. You even included fabric content which is so amazing because it really does matter. I find that Australians really *get* how to dress for the summer! I am in the USA but in extreme desert temperatures during the summer, and the Aussies are a constant source of inspiration for me. ❤️ Thank you so much for creating and sharing a feminine summer wardrobe. I don’t know why it’s so hard to find people who have that style, but I personally love Bohemian with classic and natural style. Instantly subscribing.

I agree, Aussies definitely have to learn how to master summer dressing :-) It sounds like this is something you need to deal with as well in your location! Hello Dear Lauren, it is so great to see You full of enthusiasm and with all these wonderful fashion pieces. Many of them are in beautiful and light linen and allow a bit of air inside (cooling). Very true! Looking forward to it too. I’m ready to be rid of the cold 😆. I managed to finish it and it came out really well thank you so much for asking 💕. I made it in a sort of golden mustard colour with this Japanese print lining. Now I’m working on some work trousers in khaki green lol.

It’s midwinter where I am, but I’m already thinking about my summer wardrobe. I hate heat so much that I make little effort in the summer. I just repeat my coolest sleeveless rayon knit dresses, which are so thin and casual they look like nightgowns, when at home. I’m looking forward to going out more this summer, so I’m looking for more linen day dresses. But I want them to be really simple, to reduce ironing time, the last thing I want to do when it’s hot. I just don’t feel comfortable in anything other than linen (or linen/rayon blend) when it’s 40C! I’m not a shorts fan and already have plenty of linen trousers, but I prefer skirts and dresses.

Glad thumper is doing well, with summer clothing I like the variety of choice to being comfortable especially in hot weather. I don’t think jeans wearing in the summer is that a big deal from my POV (guy) I wear khaki pants even in hot climates, I’m not keen to short IMO for me. I went to Texas and Florida both states hot as hell. Honestly it was not bad sweaty but do able. Honestly I think some of the pieces like dresses you have or tshirts could be great for beach/lake weather so hopefully you take advantage of that. Bring 50spf sunscreen it’s life saver, hope you have a good weekend Lauren.
