COLLOSSAL mistake by BMW to discontinue these boots. I had both the WP and the summer versions and wore them almost daily for several years. The Euro style "Knit" boots that replaced them are complete garbage. Uncomfortable and slippery on about half the surfaces (roadways, parking lots, etc.) I encountered while riding with them. Wish they would bring these back.
I own a pair of the ride sneakers, my question is how to clean/wash them
Before this video was over i copped them.
Is it anti skid, what is the price?
How much height does it add?
I’ve had a pair of the drys. Definitely worth it if you commute. If you are wondering about how water proof they are. I can definitely tell you that it stays relatively dry until your ankle. But even if you manage to get the inside of the shoe wet you can easily take the inner sole of the shoe out and dry it off. And I didn’t even notice the boxer engine under my shoe until I watched this 😂 thanks revzilla.
how is it for all day wear?
@@ajacobs100 feels like a normal shoe pretty flexible
They are made by the Italien Schuhmaker FORMA. They have different models and are a less expensiv hence not BMW Branded

I really like the overall design and am super indifferent about the BMW branding and it looks like the BMW branded shoes are only available on closeout and not in my size.
Thanks! I just checked out the Formas and ordered a pair. I miss these sneakers terribly as the replacement versions are horrible.
@@SeaMonkey137which Forma is closest to the Ride version. I've about worn mine out and need a good replacement.
@@warmachine_1396 The Forma SWIFT FLOW, and the Forma SWIFT DRY are identical to the old BMW summer and winter shoes IMO. I've had them all. Only diff I can find is the Formas don't have the little lace keeper (with the BMW logo) across the top front. EDIT: just checked the Revzilla site and looks like they don't have zippers anymore! I don't like this!

Female options?
There is no women specific option in these, as they are unisex, but they do go down to a size 36 Euro, which is equivalent to just about a 4 in US men's sizes.

thank God you got rid of that maniac that used to do the reviews. Unfortunately, I think he is still involved cause this guy has to use the terms that the other guy loved to use, "medial", "lateral"....just say inside and outside.
