I really appreciate your honesty about sex and relationships. Hearing about both the good and the bad parts of your experiences is as informative as it is reassuring.
Enjoyed your Brutal Q&A video. As a full-time trans female, I found your combination of candor in subject matter surfaced as well as the practical perspective shared to be quite refreshing. I see more value in hearing of the real-world experience of fellow full-time gals versus dealing with theoretical assumptions as to how life goes for a trans female after transition. With that context in mind, I generally support full disclosure on being trans but given your presentation and post-op status it makes sense not to declare TG for anything other than a long-term serious relationship. In my experience, less is more. For those that can "blend" as you described it, then you do so. IMO the investments made for FFS and breast augmentation for my transition were critical to emotional health and confidence in physical presentation -- so your positive vibe on your boob job is justified. I don't wear my rainbow flag on my forehead and virtually no one asks me about being cis vs. trans. As a result, life is much smoother for me and those I interact with (do they want the drama or dealing with awkward implications, no?). Specifically, IMO declaring 'trans' upfront in a dating situation is not helpful unless things will go physical -- then it may be necessary to talk about 'downstairs'. Not all of us are post-op. If you are, then there are certainly advantages as you mentioned. If you are not, then one has to deal with the inevitable complications that poses depending on your dating preferences--no surprise there that fewer parties will be interested. Reality is what it is.
god, maya, you're so pretty. i'm literally a gay man but when i look at you, i can't stop thinking how gorgeous you are. if i were a woman, i'd want to look like you you absolutely don't need any more surgeries. remember that people tend to see imperfections in themselves much more than they do in other people. and trust me, no one (except for you) perceives your chin as masculine. many women have such chins
Maya, first let me say i am a 75 year old man that has learned soooo much from you. You could be the twin of a woman I was involved with many many years ago. I so appreciated your vlogs about your surgeries, I learned more than i ever thought about trans women. I have watched other trans women on the internet but you are truly the only one that doesnt seem to " overact" who you are. You have style, grace and sophistication others lack. I hope you find love and success in the future. I would love to give you a huge hug someday. Bless you. HUGS
I married in 1975 and was married for 20 years. Until my husband passed period we adopted 7 children period I now have 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren period period so yes, you can lead a normal life even when you are male to female. Period I think it's just a matter of how you look at it yourself period some girls insist on being transgender and just whatever I was a wife. I was a female 100%. I always considered myself that way and always will period I will never consider myself to be TG or any other label period I am a woman.
I’m TS myself mtf. I view it as a medical situation. I work at a really woke job, so I’m open about it there, (not everywhere) but they hate that I don’t scream that I’m “queer” and “down with cis”. I work with a gay dude with a beard who wears lipstick who we now have to call “she”. His “transition” is a pronoun pin and make up. That’s it. And I’m fully medically and surgically transitioned and have to say he’s the same as me? Who fully passes? We worked for decades to just assimilate into society and separate ourselves from drag queens and crossdressers just for this woke gender queer/NB crowd to say actually no we’re “all valid as trans”. SMH 🤦🏻♀️ what a nightmare. My bf is conservative and didn’t know I was TS when he first met me (friends first) so when he asked me out even though he had never been with a girl like me, I was fully transitioned and he was okay with it because I’m not woke and not screaming about pronouns. So yes you can have a normal life if you are TS. The camp drag queens claiming trans with no transition maybe not. We’ve literally made it, we’ve had a trans girl go number one on the Billboard charts. You can literally walk the streets in full drag and make it home alive. These idiots need to stop pushing. We got the acceptance. Now we’re being the intolerant ones making demands of society! Nuts! LGBT acceptance numbers in polls are lower then they have been in years. You can thank this gender craze for that. These people don’t even have actual GD. Most of them even use their genitals from birth! 🤦🏻♀️
Being more than twice your age, I dont remember how I ended up on your page, however I'm of the generation which we didn't talk about the LGBTQ factor in human history much to everyone's demise I fear.. Not looking up @ the blue sky does not render it any less blue.. It is still there as the reality... Your videos hve been extremely educating in answering questions which I never suspected were of a concern, although growing up my Dad was of his military career ideology, it was still quite progressive of an environment & I was always free to choose my friends regardless of ethnicity, gender or the myriad of differences in humans.. The honesty & candid projection of yourself in recounting your personal story of challenges, changes, transformation & current peace within yourself is refreshing. I wish you the best as the beautiful woman you are in everything you dream of achieving.. I will look forward to future episodes.. Cheers
Do not change your mind or opinion against anything. You are one lady who knows what you want in life. Anybody would be glad to make a relationship work with you good luck girl
I’ve watched your videos since I was in college, I love to know about your experience and point of view as a transgender person. I’m a transgender man so Ive been very interested in what life is like for the other side of the spectrum. Thank you for always being open, honest, educational, and genuine! You’re very smart and beautiful.
Maya that was a good video and your upcoming ones sound excellent. You remain a beautiful and courageous woman and you honesty is helpful to many. Best.
Love the video! I would love to see a "tutorial" video from you how to change the voice? Im kind of struggling at a certain stage and yours sounds so natural and wonderful
I've watched you from the beginning of your journey and seen your good and bad moments and as a straight man I have to say you've become a beautiful woman. I think your heads in the right place in that if your going to find the right guy you shouldn't just come right out and tell the guy from the start that your trans. At the some time I feel like you should try a casual relationship and kind of slide into the topic to see what the guy feels about it. I'm way to old for you but if I saw you in a bar I'd probably hit on you just because you young and pretty. Still, I know that when you do find that guy and it's love, he might not be as much of what your list holds but more like what you needed. I respect a woman that can be up front and open minded as you've been in this little tell all. lol.I'm looking forward to the next one.
This video popped up in my feed - I haven’t seen a video from maya in literally 5 years or more / I used to watch you all the time back in the day when I was in my early days of transitioning. I found so much joy in watching your videos and seeing another trans woman go through and talk about the things I go through as a trans woman. I’m so glad the algorithm brought you back to me! About the future car purchase - please Maya for the love of the universe, but a Japanese car! Any one you want, a Toyota/Lexus Honda/Acura or Nissan. They will treat you so well!
I’ll take you out on a date. Yes? I don’t and won’t care about you being a trans. You are such a inspiration and haters only demonstrates that you are doing something good.
I’m a conservative gay man and honestly even though I don’t support these trans tenders or sjws. I always supported transexual individuals like you who stay out of trouble and only want to blend in and live their lives. I think you only have to disclose your trans identity to your friends, family, doctor and your significant other and not to strangers since that was your point of your transition to just blend in.
Do you ever wonder if there's another reality with another you that is living a life where you didn't transition? I had a dream about myself like that and it was so vivid.
You have helped me today. mentally. I just found your channel about 2 hours ago and have come by some resolutions/realizations about myself (mainly my identity), but even tho these realizations are few, it is partially relieving years and years of self hating pains (Thats a little dramatic, but my exact feelings are complex). The point is, your videos have added some clarity deep into my mind & soul that leaves me feeling excited and grateful. Also, feeling a lot of gratitude at minute 11:22-11:42 of this vid :P (but you live in Toronto which is awesome! beautiful city, I went to see Elton John play downtown) Thank You
I cannot believe you're 38. You look at least 10 years younger. You're a beautiful woman and I'm sure you'll find the right partner. A person who truly values you.
What you said about your experience on dating apps is exactly the same as mine. Pretty much match with any man I want to and then it's pretty obvious they didn't read my profile because then after we match and they read my profile they just delete me.
A lot of biological women have heaps of surgery - boobs, face, butt etc. Why should bottom surgery be seen as anything other than that. What does it matter how you get a mumu? It's there, your happy and it does the job it's made for. ❤
I feel like though I don't know you well, I find you to be an amazingly intelligent beautiful woman that overall blows my mind. Your videos have really helped me, though I haven't seen them all.
I am happy to hear from you again. Great catching up. I think you serve as encouragement for many trans girls aspiring to undergo GRS that eventually they’ll stop feeling trans, but instead feel more woman and worrying less. Because, like you said, at some point it’s about the person and not the label I just love your maturity, Maya ❤
Hi Maya! Great video as always! Felt compelled to comment that I hope you never have any surgeries on your face, I think it’s perfect as it is! Your chin is adorable! Also, loving that shade of light brown. Would that be considered “bronde”?
Protip: try to look at the camara instead of looking at your image. It has a huge impact on making videos much more professional. I know its hard, but just try it 😊
Maybe pick up a used car, or one that needs a simple transmission rebuild? You can do a transmission repair girl! Better than having to fix breaks IMO. Uhh Canada public transport may still be really good to the point of barely needing a used car though? I dunno.
Nice to see you again! I've been absent from social media because of TOTK lol I just opened a twitch account so I could watch some of my fav content creators, will add you to my list 😊 Hope you have a great weekend!
Love listening to you and I'm so happy that the world can see such an interesting and beautiful Fémale and what trans women really looks like inside and out xoxoxo
As to more surgery, do what you wish it is your life, physical and mental health. However, your appearance is to others 100% not an issue, in that if your aim was to be nominally indistinguishable from cis women, you have achieved that. Beyond that you look classy. Makeup and clothing very professional and not overdone or trashy. Not that being overdone or trashy looking is a trans issue. Rather it is a issue with many many, cis and trans and non-binary people. Please keep posting I wish you the greatest successes. Finally as to telling persons you are having relationships with about being trans, it is important at some point as honesty about anything significant is. For example if you were cis but unable to conceive or carry children to term, or perhaps other things that one would face either directly or indirectly partnering with you. In the current age about nothing of significance about a person or their history will not become public at some point. If that is significant legally or socially, one's close associates should know in advance. This allows them the opportunity to make informed choices (even if that is not the choice you would desire). It also eliminates the possibility a third party surprising with them with the disclosure or worse some sort of challenge.
16:20 You mention facial treatments that you are considering to enhance your feminine appearance. I don't think you need do anything at all to your face. You are quite lovely to look at the way you are.
I've been following you on-and-off for 4-5 years. Even though you've had bottome surgery, it seems to me that you are going to find it almost impossible to find a straight guy to have a serious physical relationship with. But you probably suspected that years ago. Best of luck with your future!
About going stealth, yeah it must be nice to be treated cisgender. I'm sure many people have benefitted from you showing a path to a happy life, but it is a sacrifice for sure. And that whole "unmatch after reading your profile" thing happens a lot as a lesbian too. It's just a weird and shitty thing but I'd way rather people expose themselves for being awful before a date than after one, so I'll always tell people I'm interested in up front.
Hello from Montréal, how you doing Maya? You're become a beautiful woman and a pioneer in the Trans community in Canada 🇨🇦 i wish you all the best in the future and find true love ❤️
I gather from your comments around 6:00, that the current visibility in the media (and the world) of trans people is not all good. As you state, the public perception may not be the best and it's very likely full of assumptions and prejudice. In some ways, I prefer things 10 years back, when I had to explain what trans was, as usually there was not a lot of knowledge. The advantage, was that I could steer the explanation to my benefit.
Honestly I agree, at this point what’s the point of telling them you’re trans? You’re so cis passing that if they really have an issue later on they’re just being a dick. They should make the choice whether to be with you based on if they like you, not based on some preconceived idea of who they are and who you are that has very little connection to your current reality
@@Sabrinatw so tru bestie. If you like make 3 sacrifices or whatever, satan comes to you and changes ur body. Tru story. It's deffo not just ur jealously. 😂

I think your lips are perfect as they are, so too your jaw line! Don't change anything else on your pretty face!
Tell them straightaway honesty is the best policy
I'm Mexican and here for you. beautiful angle.
Where are your earrings from? 😍 You look 👀 amazing! 💕
Do you ever want to move to the US, to an open-minded state or city?
Loved this 💞
Much love gratitude and positive energy 💞🌀🙏
Very interesting. Greetings from Ottawa.
They should make the choice whether to be with you based on if they like you, not based on some preconceived idea of who they are and who you are that has very little connection to your current reality
i love what ya done with your hair, honey. fabulous. 😘
Are u doing a live today?
