To be honest, the new character is pretty good. I can say that I enjoy playing for him. I like his "unbalanced" skill, which requires a little knowledge of the level. Now he has become my main character in the game :3 I'm sure that at a high level, he will be able to achieve his full potential.
It always bugs me how much people complain about super sonic being op when you realized he's literally sonic but requires more skill. Unlike werehog and infinite, super sonic actually *requires* skill to collect enough rings and hold onto them long enough to reach the last bit of the race track to transform.
If event characters weren’t so expensive to upgrade I would probably use him more. However I like his high risk gameplay it makes me change up my play style and keeps the game interesting
Now he got big nelf they should make when he is level 16 he will only need 50 ring instead of 80 to use super form like infinite he is op when he level 12 bc reality warp it cant dodge except change lane

Now, looking through the timeline of development, Sonic 1 began as a tech demo finished in June 1990. This tech demo was created as a test not only of the potential gameplay of a Sonic game, but also as a test of Sonic's viability as a mascot. Sonic was specifically designed to be a mascot for Sega, but he obviously wouldn't make the cut if they couldn't make a popular game using him. The tech demo was well-recieved, so development for Sonic 1 was greenlit. So, with the concept of Super Sonic being planned during the beginning stages of Sonic 1, which was in the early stages of design by July or August of 1990, the idea of Super Sonic was concieved before Super Saiyan debuted in March 1991. However, it didn't make it past the initial planning phase. This brings us to the development of Super Sonic for Sonic 2. You see, Yuji Naka, the creator of Sonic and lead director of Sonic 1 and 2, was a huge fan of Dragonball. So, with the hype surrounding the concept of a Super Saiyan being at an all-time high by the time Sonic 2 began development it's no secret that Super Sonic takes some… heavy inspiration from Super Saiyan. The visual design of Super Sonic was certainly a homage to Dragonball by Yuji Naka. So we're left with a strange grey area where the concept of Super Sonic was created independently from the Super Saiyan transformation, but the design was a direct reference to it. So the idea that Super Sonic “copied” Super Saiyan isn't incorrect, but it's also not entirely accurate. TL;DR Super Sonic was concieved before Super Saiyan, but was designed after it.

Not long after goku transformed, yuji decided to take that look and give it to sonic. He even made him stronger than fuckin ssj3 that bitch. Literally the entirety of sonic is an exact copy of db. It’s basically dbz in an alternate universe where the characters are hedgehogs and these other weird ass animals.
