"South-Africa was discovered by European powers"? WTF! How do you discover an African land, where Black Africans had been living centuries before the current Europeans migrated to Europe from Asia?! This is incredible!
Objected to the end of slavery? That is the narrative of the Imperialists. What about the arrival of the French Huguenot’s who had enough of the British from meddling in France, and refused to be ruled by them. You just ignored a whole historical event. You need to be better than that. And that is the main reason for the Groot trek. And that also lead to the discovery of gold when the British yet again came after them and annexed all the gold and diamonds. How old are you again? And we still need to talk about those settlers fighting the colonisation of the British and women and children being put in concentration camps by them. If they didn’t fight the British how would that have impacted the history of that country and all the races. The section about the cuisine was most enjoyable acknowledging all the different cultures. Love the rainbow culture at the Madiba restaurant.
That's the South African history white people told you...Shaka Zulu defeated the british and used his brother, but then the british twisted everything and that's not South "African" food...
I do appreciate these series BUT one of the songs in the background is KENYAN (specifically from the LUO), not SOUTH AFRICAN... come on learn the difference!!
