Man that was a real good movie. Enjoyed it a lot. Good story, good actors, awesome locations and the part where they drive around N.Y to finish the deal was like a reminder of Midnight Cowboy... Thanks a bunch for sharing this gem.
Thanks for watching! We love to see that good old movie fans are still out there 😎
I had only heard about this movie, but got the chance to view it. Very good print for an old movie and English sub titles. Enjoyed. Thanks.
Loved this!!! KInda flick I'd watch with my Pop back when I was a kid! Ben Gazzara always kickass!!!!
Enjoyed this. Ben G. Was awesome. Watch the French French Connection. Fantastic!!!
One of the most Best mafia drug trafficking movie I have ever watched 👌🙏🙂👑
I saw Ben in Paris he was by himself in the hotel while eating lunch, very nice man
OId movie but with some nice touches, Ben Gazzia playing a convincing villain with obvious enjoyment.
Enjoyed.
First time seeing this movie fantastic 👍👍
Great movie, MovieGlobe!
Crime doesn't pay, nor does working undercover for years for the good guys...
These 70s films had a no frills, gritty feel, that one can connect today, different from the well finished, CGI, VFX fare we see.
Times change, so do the wants and needs.
Are you fucking kidding us? "Crime doesn't pay"? Bullshit. Crimes pays bigtime. Wake up!
For another good Italian Film, set in New York, watch the Italian Job. A classic, and great cast.
This movie was better then I expected. At first I thought he was a cop, then after all he went thru, I said maybe he not a cop. But he was a cop the whole time.😂
Superb print. Excellent movie.
good movie
Beautiful and under rated movie..
I always said " you can't trust anyone in the mafia, not even your best friend, there is to much money involved". This was said by Vincent Teresa.
Man I really love and respect this movie. My first time seeing it. I have become almost anti social because things are going so backwards. No principles, no morals, integrity and dignity. They sell out to anything for money. That's why I left the drug game. I promised myself I would never get involved again regardless how much I suffer. Yet this movie gave me much respect for the Sicilian connection. We need more Joe's in this world. Stand up guy full of heart.
I am at a point where i am starting to think there's more anti social people in this world than there are caring, loving human beings who do have morals, ethics and integrity. And you have to look out for those who hide behind a facade of forged positive traits.
But i was abused by many anti socials and lost a sister to such monster.. so i might be a bit biased.
You can't become anti social btw... that is a disorder... be yourself, you sound like a good guy !!
💯 percent I did the same not worth the risk when u would be sold out over people thinking Ur loaded
Excellent film!
Good
The band plays the tunes.
Always.
Such is the way of animal men.
No individual man exist in plain sight.
Take care anyone!!!!
LOVE ALWAYS!!
Cool
Good movie✅
Super excellent movie - 11Dec2022Finland
Few people understand our financial system, because its basic processes are rarely discussed. Even economics graduates have never heard much of this.
Money is not a good, it is a measure.
The good takes from the above posted movie:
*A proper 1970's epoch presentation.
*Some of the really pretty women from the movie; actually had their saying for the: unfolding of the main movie story.
*The fight scenes were credibly short; and with actual brawling sequences of :
1 vs mo than 1.
*The array of actors and camera shooting sites; had a quite good diversity.
Then, Summarising the moral of the story of the above posted movie:
>
Did not see it coming. The ending was rough. But just remember how much of a hold mafia had in US the time. Nevermind the way they had to be rooted out in the eighties. Many judges prosecutors and police murdered in Sicily. A film well ahead of it's time.
That start reminds me of a movie, carrying the coffin...
Retro kick!!! Awsm
Magnifique - Champs de pavots en Turquie et Cappadoce
favorite scene? Any one where the music stopped!
They got "Pay ' N ' Spray". Just like "Grand Theft Auto".
WOW!
Ben Gazara, such class!!!
What a nice movie but not an ultimate reality
Now, that is what I call a Rotten Ending!!
Agree with you. But the film was saying there was corruption. In those days it was rife.
That's one way of dealing with a police officer after being caught using a mobile whilst driving...in a coffin 😆
Love these early seventies (including sixties) style movies.
It's the, what it was like before scenes and locations..
Before it was modernization stepped in...
The world was a better place..
With Fiat 500s and NSUs...mad days...
Now to enjoy Ben Gazzara👍👍and beautiful lady...wow
Great actor...
There were no mobiles at that time. Car phones, yes. But those were fixed in the car.
Dam good movie
Love that Ben Gazzara!
Respect died . with the old men .. except for a few of us..
Very good film with Ben doing an amazing job. My favorite scene is when he looks up at the cave dwellers and they all make that high pitched sound which is weirdly bizarre. Giuseppe must have known that he was not in Brooklyn anymore. T.Y. for posting.
It's about time you release this film it's a great film and from start to finish hey they should have they should have cast my artists in it Johnny Russo from The godfather LOL just a thought it's a great film enjoy it anyone
None of these crimes, violence, & activities were necessary if the sale & consumption of narcotics were LEGAL in the world.
That's Italian 2 in a box 🤣🤣🤣 cults carry on
The ending was pitiful, what idiot fakes his death, then roams around the city in public.
I agree with you 100%, absolutely, looks like the cops had a bad guy who told the criminals that the death was a fake......very very unlikely, for him to die as he did, lmfao, this was a bullshit ending, would have made more sense if the beating he took was fatal since the police got all the involved bad guys, or did they, ending surely ruined this film (story) definately unrealistic....borders on stupid!
of course the scene to begin with
is that Don Tommasino from Godfather part 1?
Is this related to the frech connection?
So what was the point putting drugs in the dead man if they're just going to bury him??!!
It's a movie ...., Stop watching and complaining if you have better idea how the movie should be made , beside it's a FREE movie ..
When did you ever such a great moment to someone for FREE
@@foreverPCsman you're criticizing the guy for observing that millions of dollars in drugs were buried despite being smuggled back for a reason and that's not a problem in the believability of the entire premise of the movie? All I've been thinking of since the drugs in the coffin were displayed was why would they bury the drugs and smuggle them in a corpse just to put them back in the ground? And you're bitching at someone who observes that that is a huge problem in the movie only 8 minutes in?
there's a need to bury the cadaver so that the nosey sergeant is surely dead after thirty days, the ripe time to get and deliver the drugs.
@@antoniodeguzman7784
The drugs are in the body, the body is in the coffin, take the drugs out of the body that's in the coffin and bury the dead cop with the dead body in the coffin and you've got the drugs, which part of putting the dead cop in with the drugs and the other body makes sense?
Drugs were never buried .. just smuggled ..and the body of the smuggled body got a companion
NYC movie based on reality
Shouldn’t they have removed all the goods before throwing the Italian cop in the box ? It’ll be even worse at a later date
Bud Spencer sound effects !☝
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Actually a really good movie.
Dont make them like that anymore.
Io amo l'Italia
OMERTÀ E SCACCIAPENSIERI !☝🇮🇹
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
So the mafia brings dead mobster back from turkey with a body full of morphine, then buries the mobster, morphine and a dead cop? I'm about 15 minutes in and this is making no sense and the music is horrible
Too much loud music, annoying 👎👎
sensored, why?
Al poli le paso porrr sapo🤣🤣🤣🤣
1:00:13 Will your friends be returning? I'm afraid not. They wanted a french sauce, and you don't have it, so they went somewhere else. lol
Ben Gazarra only had one method of acting.
Every single movie.
Walk haltingly, head bowed foward.
Slowly turn to deliver his line.
Pause, pause, pause.🤷🏾♂️
I read the book. Hope it's the same movie. But who can't see this guy as a cop. Come on. Lol
I really don't know what to think of this movie. Maybe because of the weird dialogues and the terrible sound effects. When you cut out the scenes with the "gangsters", you will have a nice touristic promotion movie.
Sicillian Receding Hairlines
Did they get the morphine out of the dead man's chest?
U kidding me smh
absolutely terrible
best movie i seen since hobbit
Do they still make women like that? Where can i find one hot damn
They should of taken the drugs out , not to bright on his part 🤔
برے کام کا برا انجام
Don't show any more
This movie is so dated and slow moving. The dubbing is reasonable ,but still dubbing. Also when will movie actors learn to dance? All in all I managed just over twenty minutes of it before realising my life was slowly and agonisingly draining away.
The actors could mostly have been a lot better. There are numerous details that I could complain about. And it would have been a lot ore credible if those acting as Italian-Americans actually were Italian-Americans and talked with their accents. The plot was decent.
But I don't understand the role of the main charachter. Was he a cop or was he simply an informant and infiltrator who worked for the FBI for some reason? They should have explained that in the movie.
I expected that he was a cop from the get go.
Still, all in all it was an acceptable movie.
This days they have " smart watch, " " smart tv" .....and so on .
Earlier they had " smart movies" ..you have to watch them multiples times , and every time you discovered something that you missed previously.
I bet you are the one that if you go to a theater..you laugh hard , you comment ..expose loud your opinion- what would be ..how should be ...
I prefer to watch the movie..not your damaged perception of let people enjoy it ..not to divulge a critical aspect
And alllll I heard was complain ..
Don't like it ..move to another FREE movie , and stop being asob
Tabomuso , perfectionist ..I bet you never did anyyyy nice gesture to no one ...NEVER gave anything for FREE .. but you complain about everything, anything in this movie , and also impose your point of view. Spoil the pleasure of many people to have their own opinions in their minds by showing of that you are a good critic .. and a Free movie crusher
And ..you remember..smart phone, smart watch, smart tv ...
You are not a smart person ,
Your dad should wear condom .
@@foreverPCsman hahaha!!! 🙂
If it is ok to write here that the movie was good, it is ok to criticise the movie. Like I said before the movie was decent and in some aspects cool, but I would have prefered more authentic details. I am quite a sucker for Mafia movies and that was mainly why I voiced my complaints so strongly. But no I would not say my opinions out loud in a movie theater.
Anyways, I am glad that you liked everything in this movie. Good for you.
Too slow & old 😑
It's interesting how a film that was classed as a drama or thriller back in the day, could become a comedy today. Crap movie. There are movies from back then which stood the test of time. This is not one of them. Absolute C grade.
I agree as well. In the first scene, you cannot expect a policeman to perform a search of a corpse among known felons, alone and unarmed. Nor would his superior officers let his disappearance go without following through on his last known assignment.
In the following scenes with Mr Gazzara, he acted so inhibited, and his good-natured laughing was so fake that I thought we were supposed to believe he was intending to infiltrate narcotics dealers. Like the police officer in the first scene, however, he operated without reporting to law enforcement authorities.
Then, when a woman who said she never wanted to see him again, and who clearly is connected to a drug-dealing nightclub, appears at his apartment, he has no suspicion about her motive.
Generally, it's one implausible, unrealistic scene after another.
@@meofamily4 I'm only 8 minutes in and still trying to figure out why they buried the cop, the corpse and all of the morphine and that was smuggled back from Turkey... Wtf
Excellent film. But New York is one ugly city.
😎👍👍👍
gotta love italian mob movies, but more over the women
Awful movie. Couldnt watch. Typical of foreign movies.

Would you like a virtual pat on the head or what? This movie is mediocre and I doubt I'll make it much farther through it, but you seem pretty thrilled
What was your favorite scene from the movie? Let us know in the comments! 🥰
When that Sicilian woman took her clothes off and hoped in bed with joe.
That's a fantasy.
I love the opening scene so
full of suspense and thrill when the police inspector
ask the father in law to open up his lung cavity.
The French sauce 😃
when the end credits came up. Thanks for uploading, & I love Mafia movies, but sorry not this one
Best scene - "when the brains/drug funding pathetic rich criminal network gets arrested #MALTA has legalised Coccaine & will regulate globally..... GREED
