Y’all Richard is an amazing guy. Never met him in person. But how I would like to spend a good day catching some slabs and learn as much as I can from him. Like my wife says about me. Man I so look forward to seeing you on my lake! I watch for you every day I’m out there. I know some good docks near where you were there! WOOO!!
Up here in south Michigan the surface temp is 68 degrees, got on some yesterday. All the docks here are floating nowadays. They used to have ones on steel legs that set on bottom but the floaters are easier to bring in winter. The ice in winter will destroy docks like that down there. It’s impossible to skip under floating docks, so I fish weed beds and wood structure if I can find it👍

@richard do you have a video to walkthrough how you set up your 1/32oz jig head to be weed guarded with the 40-lb mono? I'm curious to know how you work that. Is it with super glue? How does the mono get that stiff? Thanks for any help!

I've always liked/ loved at least 1/3 of your videos , but when I see a name brand shirt, boat, rod , or lure, I just shut down and stop, if the Channel has come to that , then its time to say farewell to the channel and UA-cam , because what its suppose to be about is totally lost.
Richard Normally do a great show and his word is gospel but when he said that Lure can catch up to a hundred fish. Come on man. We no one stripper or large mouth or spotted bass will tear up a jig. And crappie will too. Also you will too if you are the type of person that likes to take a jig out with plyers.

Hey Richard I really like the z man elastic lures thank you for the tips. Found out that spike it dye will melt the tail off the elastic had some pearl was going dye tail chartruce now they melted at the thin part of henge good jigs otherwise.

I learned this technique about 2 years ago from the machine. I backed off bass fishing so heavy and starting crappie fishing. Since I’ve starting sound this method and the mini bobber method. I’ve caught hundreds in 2 years

Since it's got cooler up here I noticed the size of fish are slightly smaller. I caught bigger smallies when it was warm. Same with catfish

Where would be the best placement for the transducer for the fish finder ? Do you think it would be best on the trolling motor or the back of the boat?
Trolling motor if you only have one. That way it makes sure you are going slow while using your electronics. Putting a transducer at the rear makes it hard to accurately locate shad/fish/brush.
So his trolling motor is in the front?
