@TheRenaissanceman65 if you want to see the old cross channel ones, one is left at the hovercraft museum in lee on Solent, one had to be scrapped due to cost and lack of space
@TheRenaissanceman65: Deafening noise? When I travelled on the old cross channel SRN4’s, I wouldn’t have said they were any louder than the cabin of an airliner. Perhaps they changed the engines for quieter more efficient ones towards the end of their operation?

Me too...i thought hovercraft ended when hoverspeed went bust.
