  • Ackee and Saltfish is Jamaica’s National Dish.
    It is easy to prepare.
    Ingredients:
    Saltfish
    Ackee
    Sweet Pepper
    Onion
    Escallion
    Thyme
    Scotch Bonnet Pepper
    Garlic
    Black Pepper
    Method
    Allow salt fish to boil for 15-20 minutes.
    After boiling, place under cold water. Break your Saltfish into small pieces.
    Drain your Ackee and allow it to run under warm water until water is clear.
    Sautée your seasonings in oil.
    Add Saltfish
    Add Ackee
    Add black pepper
    Allow to cook for roughly 10 minutes.
    Serve 🤗
