+1 ... Watching the exhaust developments for the '22 Cayman GTS 4.0l .. Have an early MY2023 production allocation in place, say an Oct '22 delivery .. Waiting while driving my tried and true '98 Carrera S (993) ...
Fyi, in Sport Exhaust mode the GT2 is so loud it is almost impossible to hold a normal conversation in the cabin at highway speed (well at performance highway speed)...it definitely does not lack character, they have all kinds of snap crackle and pop sounds emitting from the engine (a guy who owns a 2019 GT2 RS GR, WP, Mags, et al).
It drones more in sport exhaust than with our exhaust. If you're happy with your GT2RS that's fantastic. Other owners are looking for more

Mine is black on black and if guys are saying it’s civil …they aren’t driving fast enough… not widow maker it’s the grim reaper… we have decibel limit at our track

This is ridiculous. The car does NOT lack emotion. The OEM system is sourced from Akrapovic, and sounds great in regular or sport modes. Yes, I'm a current owner.
Please do videos of POV driving on backroads I’m obsessed with these cars and there’s not a whole lot on UA-cam for them

On the modern Porsche Turbo’s you need an ecu tune to increase the power. We offer the Cobb AccessPort to accomplish this
Exactly which pieces of the titanium exhaust system are replaced with inconel? I assume the exhaust manifolds are not touched? What are the performance improvement claims with the M Engineering ECU tune? Fyi, I am an Aerospace Engineer who owns a 2019 Porsche GT2 RS and as such I am more then a little familiar with the metallurgical properties of inconel.
Hi Steve. Might be good for you to look at the product listing. This is 625, the entire part, machined Inconel flange, reinforced “tear drop” ring on the tip end to ensure no cracking. We partnered with long time Inconel specialist and formula one exhaust Mfg Good Fabs for this project. The power gains are fuel dependent. With the exhaust and good fuel 100whp isn’t hard to find. If you wanted more there are bolt on turbos that compliment this kit to get the car to 900whp.... all of the titanium and valves is removed. www.dundonmotorsports.com/products/gt2rs-inconhell-race-exhaust
@@jamiebopp473 Hi, I looked at the product list and still have no idea what the exhaust system actually entails. Can you provide some part numbered "blue prints" or at least product graphics/sketches? Also please specify what you mean by "fuel dependent" and "good fuel".
@@stevefowler2112 The entire "system" is right there on the link. They are in essence short V-band dumps that come straight off the hot side of the turbos behind each rear wheel and directly out the bumper. "Fuel dependant" likely means that the car flows plenty of air through the intake system, so that it is currently restricted by fuel quality or fuel flow rather than air flow. Guessing by "good fuel" he means only run 93 not 91 or switch the car to e85, 110, or Import.
@@stevefowler2112 I think you're overcomplicating it a bit. The Exhaust is very simple, very light with the sole intention of adding emotion and simplifying the rear of the car. By separating the exhaust, leaving the center area empty, we allow for some future development for those that track the car (think big tunnel diffuser). The M-engineering tune with the exhaust on 93+ is 80-100whp gains. The Race Exhaust is under 7lbs the Street Exhaust is also 100% inconel and should come in at 15lbs. The stock system is about 37lbs...

You deliberately put your exhaust in better sound conditions,to sound louder than the stock exhaust...
In reality,I don't see much difference between the two!!!
