I understand your concern, Khushi. It's true that there are student protests and other activities in JNU, but it all depends on whether students choose to participate in them or not. If your focus is on studying, JNU offers a great environment for academics. I won't deny that there have been cases where female students faced harassment from fellow students, but it's unfair to associate such incidents solely with JNU. Harassment or abuse can happen to anyone, anywhere. What matters is how careful we are in choosing the people we interact with and how we establish personal boundaries. So, don’t worry too much. @@madhuyadav1504 Hostel lists are already out. I think they will ask you to go to IHA directly for hostel allotment. Let's see what they do. Most probably, It can happen that you get the hostel same day.

There is no specific month for hostel allotment. Hostels are generally allotted after physical verification during admission. It takes 1-2 weeks for the allotment list to come out. Classes start within 1-2 weeks after admission. Yes you can if classes are not going and can stay in hostel.

I can't confirm par ho jana chahiye. Baaki ab jab jnu admission notification release kare toh apply kariyega. Uske baad cutoff aayegi aur selection ka bhi uske baad hi chalega pata.

Yaar ek baat batao bura na manana par agar koi insaan JNU se MA na kare toh kya uska UPSC and Ugc Net nahi nikalta kya?? Ek baat ko samjho UPSC main aane wala sociology and MA main padha jane wala sociology ka level alag hota hain. And for UGG NET MA SOCIOLOGY JNU se padhne main help hojati.

Political science ke liye mere pass koi information nahi. Bahut saare youtube channels hain shayad political science ke preparation ke liye aap unhe dekh idea le sakhte.
Di i am pursuing MA political science from IGNOU. It's my first year of MA political science. I also want to do MA in international relations. I will give cuet pg 2025 suppose i get admission in jnu for international studies. In this case i will be eligible for hostel or not as you mentioned in required documents during hostel allotment that we can't pursue part time study programme.
As per my knowledge two full time courses one can't pursue. And part time it's ok, no problem in that because IGNOU is a distance course. For more information you can search for it because I can't confirm what I say, for this you have to search for complete details.

Aap kar sakhte Maters in Economics. Aisa respect jaisa kuch nhi hota, classes actually english main hoti hain aur exams and assignments sab kuch par hindi medium wale bache phir bhi acha karte hain kyuki woh continously try karte hain. Baaki faculty bhi help karti hain.
Haan scholarship hain around 2,000 rs. Baaki uske liye bhi kuch eligibility criteria hain for example income kam honi chahiye parents ki and shayad government job nahi honi chahiye parents ki.
Aap last year ke cutoff check karlo MSC botany ka. Baaki jnu jab admission notification release kare toh apply kariyega. Tabhi selection hua ya nahi decide hoga.
In my opinion there are no paid seats because it's illegal . Because all admissions are through entrance. There are many MSC students here and all are admitted through the cuet entrance exam. Jnu is not a private institution The paid seat system doesn't work here.
I can't confirm that. Just apply for JNU, when it releases notification for admission. On the basis of applications submitted by the candidates the cut-off would be released and selection would happen.

No we don't have to pay anything for the next two to three years of our course duration. And yes the mess fee is for every month.

@@someswarrao5867 Hostel list would be out around 31st July. After the list is out, any day you can go for hostel allotment.
Di, how many days to they take to allot hostel if you've qualified in the 1st list?
It doesn't matter which list you qualify. When all the admissions would be done that means after 10th of July the list would be released.

Ek baat ko samjho UPSC main aane wala sociology and MA main padha jane wala sociology ka level alag hota hain. And for UGG NET MA SOCIOLOGY JNU se padhne main help hojati.
Depend aap par karta hain ki aap kya mann kar chalrahe ki exam crack tabhi hoga jab JNU se padhoge. Main nahi manti baaki aap par hain.

For hostel allotment you just need to clear the CUET cutoff for JNU. Every subject has different cutoffs, you can get the cutoff list from Google.

Mess fee refund nahi hoti hain. Par hostel fee jo bharte hain 6000rs usme se hostel vacant karne par 3000-4000rs shayad wapas miljata.

You need to show the gap year affidavit for the years you took gap.

Di i am pursuing MA political science from IGNOU. It's my first year of MA political science. I also want to do MA in international relations. I will give cuet pg 2025 suppose i get admission in jnu for international studies. In this case i will be eligible for hostel or not as you mentioned in required documents during hostel allotment that we can't pursue part time study programme.
As per my knowledge two full time courses one can't pursue. And part time it's ok, no problem in that because IGNOU is a distance course. For more information you can search for it because I can't confirm what I say, for this you have to search for complete details.

Aap kar sakhte Maters in Economics. Aisa respect jaisa kuch nhi hota, classes actually english main hoti hain aur exams and assignments sab kuch par hindi medium wale bache phir bhi acha karte hain kyuki woh continously try karte hain. Baaki faculty bhi help karti hain.

Haan scholarship hain around 2,000 rs. Baaki uske liye bhi kuch eligibility criteria hain for example income kam honi chahiye parents ki and shayad government job nahi honi chahiye parents ki.

In my opinion there are no paid seats because it's illegal . Because all admissions are through entrance. There are many MSC students here and all are admitted through the cuet entrance exam. Jnu is not a private institution The paid seat system doesn't work here.

I can't confirm that. Just apply for JNU, when it releases notification for admission. On the basis of applications submitted by the candidates the cut-off would be released and selection would happen.
