I would like to try and draw my field spaniel at some point, so all this information about colours, how they mix and layer is invaluable for me to do that. Thank You for giving so much information, it really helps in understanding how to build beautiful, realistic colours.

It’s so interesting to hear again just how we use the different brands. I use the same ones in the same order and for the same reasons. I do likewise with botanicals and the variety. For blurred backgrounds I just go with pastels if one wants a background with Spectrafix final fixative. I have sneaked in pastel and colored pencils together on Pastelmatt with making sure that they are lightfast. I think I go through my Polychromos more than the rest and the basics of the other groups. The Pablos I enjoy likewise and have a handful of those. Excellent explanation of why complimentary colors make things pop.😊

Hi Bonny, Ive notices your using mainly drafting film. Im stuck with five pads of pastelmat. Will you work with that again? You work in a way I understand but I dont want to spend even more money on drafting film with not having a job right now and also I live remote so finding that paper will be a challenge. Im working on a Boarder Collie with so many different colours. Keeping it smooth is a bit of a test. The horse is beautiful. Very soft and clean. I have polys, Luminance’s, lightfast and Derwent drawing. You use all of them and not to many other sets so I can work with your tutorials really well. Thank you for all you do with your tutorials. You are just magic.

Thank you Bonnie for doing this presentation its a great idea to do one for each of your portraits, these are the things that really help understand choice of colour and brand I have a set of polychromos but can see the benefits of buying another set to complement then could you recommend which set I would be best getting next? I'm thinking luminance or pablo's but that's where I'm stuck I'd love to by more but will need to wait for them unfortunately so what would you go for next?

Hi Bonny, I am trying to log in to your website, and when I click Forgot Password, it doesn't send me an email, I even checked my spam folder. Would love to access your tutorial, but didn't know if login is only for Ignite. I love this paw video, same coloring as my furbaby! Sorry for the tech question here, I don't use socials other than YT.
