"Pienso en tu mirar" es una canción de su álbum titulado " El mal querer", todas las canciones del álbum describen las fases de un amor tóxico, el enamoramiento, la boda, los celos, las discusiones y el odio, hasta la liberación final, cuando ella abandona a su maltratador, su marido. y "Pienso en tu mirar" habla de los celos del marido, tan celoso que la quiere tener encerrada en casa.
Todas las canciones del álbum son espectaculares, aunque solo algunas tienen video como " Bagdag", " De aquí no sales" " Malamente"....-
Pero si queréis ver a una Rosalía en directo la canción " De plata", es increible, debéis verla. Además hay una Rosalía más maravillosa y está en su primer álbum titulado " Los ángeles", con canciones que canta en directo de manera magistral, están en you tube. Saludos

From Spain, the most popular in USA are Julio Iglesias ,Enrique iglesias and now Rosalia... And yes, Enrique was born is Madrid, Spain, but moved to Miami when he was about 10 years old.
But there are many singers from Spain that are world wide, although only a few hit the U.S market like ALEJANDRO SANZ, or more recently young artist, less popular in the states but are starting to do some stuff there like PABLO ALBORAN who collaborated with Dua Lipa ,Ava Max ,etc.. ABRAHAM MATEO collabs with Jennifer Lopez, 50 Cent, Becky G, etc.. AITANA with Katy Perry, INDIA MARTINEZ with Marc Anthony, and probably there is some other that i´m forgetting right now.

She’s singing from the man’s perspective within an abusive relationship. He thinks of her gaze , as it’s like a bullet to the chest meaning he doesn’t want other men to look at her.
He’s jealous of the wind passing through her hair, the gold touching her skin and her smiling in the streets as her dimples will show. The things happening in the video are symbolic of abuse and toxicity within a relationship e.g control over how you dress and who you smile at… Another song done from the abusive partner’s perspective is ‘de aqui no sales’ and is essentially the abusive partner raging and throwing out the usual comments like “this hurts me more than you” “make no mistakes with me or I’ll make it clear with the back of my hand”… It’s worth reading up on what the album is about, what it’s based on and how it came about.

Can you react to her performance at the MTV EMAs 2019. She is a unique artist and her lyrics are very metaphorical and from her videos don't even mention it. Both of her albums are a piece of art.

As others have said, this song is from her Mal Querer album which is arranged in chapters like a book. The album tells the story of a woman who ignores her feeling that her guy isn't right for her but lets herself be wooed (goes ahead and marries him anyway (Que no Salga la Luna). Then his true colours come through and she realises how jealous he is (Pienso en tu Mira) to the point he starts being physically abusive (De Aqui no Sales). Reniego, Preso and Bagdad is her trying to deal with the situation and going through her emotions. Di Mi Nombre is about sex and trying to fix the relationship with the passion. Then Nana is a sad lullaby as she's conceived and had a baby followed by Maldición where she's had enough and kills her husband. The last song is A Ningún Hombre is where she ensures she doesn't make the same mistake again.
So knowing this will help you understand this song better. I'm not going to go into all the symbolism in this masterpiece of a video because I'll be here all day, but I strongly suggest you watch this amazing review which says is all basically. All you need to know is Rosalía's videos are not what they seem at first sight and she's just genius.

Hola, os ha abducido Rosalía no? Este video tiene numerosos simbolismos relacionados con la letra y la temática de las canciones. En este video en especial esta repleto. El album del Mal Querer habla como sabreis de las relaciones toxicas, es un albúm conceptual inspirado en un libro que se llama Flamenca del siglo XII ,cada canción corresponde a un capitulo,por eso tiene dos nombres,en este caso es Cap 3 Pienso en tu Mirá -Celos. y habla precisamente de ello. Yo soy española,del sur,andaluza y quizás los simbolos que aparecen en el video me son mas cercanos y los entiendo mejor. Si quereis saber algo más, preguntadme y os intentaré explicar. Nice reaction! Also, this is sang from the point of view of the man, the flamenca's husband. He is saying 'i think of your look, it's like a bullet in the chest'. And then you can see all the different men (younger, older...) with a wound in their chests. It symbolizes his jealousy, as he thinks she is looking at others (and flirting with them) when she is away from him. It's a reflection of his sick obsession and the beginning of flamenca's violent suffering.

The video is trying to show, as the song itself does, the violence that this woman goes through. The man is gaslighting her with his words, making his sick jealousy sound like something beautiful. There's clear references to violence against women. The man with the bat breaking the porcelane figure of the flamenca, the men pointing their weapons against Rosalía. Also, Rosalía's character is shown being trapped in this house more than once. Her album has a storyline and this is just the beginning of this poor woman's suffering 😬

This whole book is about a Woman married to a man that was obsessed with the woman. De aqui no sales is also from the man’s perspective and some of the claps are supposed to him hitting her. The story has a tragic ending, but maybe not what you expect.
